I had a notification today that a FP was removed from a specific cache naming the cacher who removed it
I checked with the cacher as I suspected it may have been a glitch and he had not removed the FP and when it was all checked the log shows that he had awarded one and that it was still there.
So, no worries about FPs being removed - but why would I have had a notification to say this had occurred when it evidently had not - is this a glitch PGC end or GC end ?

It's difficult to investigate without further details.

The most likely answer is a momentary blip in some system, somewhere, that was caught shortly thereafter.
sounds like it - I was trying to establish if the glitch was in the notification system rather then GC
I had an email notification from PGC saying an FP had been removed - as said when checked it appears that was not the case and it is very possible the FP was never removed - but somehow the PGC systems considered it had and so sent the notification
Further to this I have now heard from that cacher who has stated that several other cachers have messaged him asking why he removed an FP from their cache - I have had no such issues so it sounds like his account has the issue - he states he is waiting for removal of data from PGC systems and will then update with a new data share
Yes, that would cause this. If he asks for his data to be deleted then we have to delete it, which in effect causes the FP count to go down.
