Hello dear Community!

I had an idea about creating a Challenge which is similar to the Board-Game called "Risk".  Its Pretty simple: A certain amount of found Caches in a countie equals the given "troops" in that countie. You may use these troops to conquer bordering counties... The Challenge would be fulfilled once you conquered all the counties in a preset area...

Do you think it would be too hard to program the basic program like setting up the troops and the borders between counties? How much effort does it take to create an interactive map?

I guess once a Challenge checker like this is created it is easy to modify for other regions and variations...

So what do you guys think?

There is currently no support in the challenge checker system to create maps at all. To just make a list of which countries the user has logged caches in and how many is simple, but it requires that Project-GC has county-level map data for the country in question. See the Counties column on http://project-gc.com/Home/CountrySupport for more about that.

If you also mean that the user must have a certain number of finds in relation to other cachers to conquer a county, that is a problem. As of right now, challenge checkers can only see your own finds, not those of other people.
