In the 'average log length' category is it all logs, including notes etc, or just 'Found' or 'Not Found' logs that are considered?

I usually write a brief note straight away if I find, or place, a TB in a cCHE. I then delete the note when I complete a full 'Found it' log, often several days later.

I would say that it's the same thing as FTF logs detection - once you log you visit with "FTF" and the data is collected by PGC in the meantime, and then you EDIT your log to have "{*FTF*}" (or any other suitable tag), it takes PGC a few weeks to update your stats... http://project-gc.com/Home/FAQ#05bbe53f7ecaf536b9d50bea5b1181b3

So, I assume that there is the same logic behind this specific count (and every other concerning found logs).

My guess is that the best way to do it is to delete your log and write new one - then your stats should be processed correctly. If you take a look at FAQ, you will see that the data is being updated quicker if the cache has new 'Found it' logs - http://project-gc.com/Home/FAQ#b2320bf4075ac4427065d9668b8a372d

I hope it helps ;)

Another reason to create new logs rather the edit them is that the CO will get no notification of changes logs.

A reason the edit the log is that they are ordered in the order you have logged. Statistics like Maximum distance in a day will be incorrect if you log out of order.

I can't tell you how it works but I always log straight away with "log to follow". The next morning or even later when I'm on a wifi I submit a full log. This log must be calculated because I have a diamond badge and the word count is high too.

If only the first log was counted I would see it straight-a-way in the word count.
