Hi,

I've checked my last visited Event,  which was GC5MCKF and wondered about the project-gc.com presented statistics:

It says that

  • used data is from before the Event date
  • But 8 from 50 Will Attends has Attended

Might be related to the API cut-off by geocaching.com, as stated in the News.

I am guessing that you are just impatient. Wait a day or two, see if things catch up. Remember it has been less than a day since PGC got access to Geocaching, I imagine there is a lot of logs to get through.
I think you misunderstood my comment / my problem: I can't imagine how its possible that attendance of an event is shown/calculated, before the event has happended. I've checked the event logs again and ANY of the event logs "Attended" has the date of the event itself.

Its the combination of the two facts, I mentioned, which irritates me.

Be patient! Think also that the date at groundspeak system is US date and your event was european. So few people could indicate participation with 1 day delay. Exemple: if you log early in europe you are on the preceding day in US. This combined with communication between systems US and european could give special combination which are aligned only after 1 or two synchronisation period. So in this kind of problem just be patient.
