Show statistics for a specific year?

Is there a way to show for instance Profile Stats for a single year or specified period?

I also thought about this since a while. I use a statistics site to track my flights (flightmemory). They have a combo box which defaults to all years but let's you select previous years to get narrowed down statistics. Would be a great feature!
