Chrome won't permit this extension unless it's registered in the Chrome web store, as it fears it may be malicious, so could you register it in the web store please?

Install tamper monkey from the chrome store at the link below and the script install shall work on the geasy fork page

The script uses greasemonkey functions, and must be installed inside Tampermonkey in Chrome.

Installing it as a Chrome extension will not work.
The problem is that if you click the obvious "install this script", button without tamper monkey installed, on the script page chrome tries to install the script as a extension and it is not allowed. There is not information that tamper monkey is needed.

If you click there with tamper monkey install the script will be installed in tamper monkey

My understanding is that extensions in chrome can just be java script files without any need for tamer monkey but they have to be installed from the web store. (Or i have miss under stand it)
This script will obvious not like that because it need tamper monkey
Scripts don't need to be installed from the web store, but you might have to disable some security checks.

But this script uses functions that rely on Greasemonkey/Tampermonkey. That's why they won't work without Tampermonkey.

The first part of the description states:
Compatibily:
* Requires Greasemonkey to run in Firefox.
* Requires Tampermonkey to run in Chrome.

I think it's quite clear that Tampermonkey is required :)
Yes I know that but that.
But if you click on the "install this script" link after reading the news post in pgc what to do is not obvious
chrome thinks the script is a standalone extension and complaints.
The solution is to install tamper monkey but that it not obvious if you never used it before.
try to install the script with tamper monkey disable and you will se the problem.

I am also getting that issue on Chrome for the Greasemonkey script.

Maybe it is just the push I need to get off Chrome and on to Firefox.
