Reporting an Erroneous Challenge Checker

project-gc.com/Challenges/GC3CBQ2/541 appears to give erroneous results.

I do not understand what the 541 in the above URL means.

As far as I can tell the checker is doing a 366 calendar check. GC3CBQ2 has a puzzle element that must be solved and this checker does not check the right things.

 

As the cache owner, I would appreciate it if for this PUZZLE cache that no checker exist - otherwise it rather spoils the point of the PUZZLE.

 

I have no idea how such things are meant to be reported - it isn't obvious.

What is the problem? The cache description says that this is a challenge cache that is on the coordinates and you have to have logged a cache on each day of the year to be allowed to log it. Does not the checker checks for that?
All you have to do to log a challenge is to sign the log and meat the requirements.
to log it. If there is another puzzle element that has to be completed that would probably be considered a ALR(additional logging requirement) and they are no longer allowed and can be ignored according to groundspeek.
Or am I missing something?

You are missing something. It says nothing about "each day of the year".

It says "You must find 366 caches on the appropriate dates." The puzzle is to determine what dates. The checker is WRONG WRONG WRONG here.

How do I get the checker turned off?

My mistake, Contact the user that has tagged it listet after "Tagged by:" on the checker. There is a gc.com mail link after the name

Yes, the checker is wrong. I've disabled it for the time being.

(If you want to consider this a PUZZLE cache and not a CHALLENGE cache, then the use of ALRs is not allowed according to the guidelines (since 2009, IIRC), meaning that anyone that finds the box and signs the log has a valid log.)
