When in profile stats, tab maps, I select Belgium counties, a map of Asia is displayed.

Display is ok for Belgium regions.

Works ok for me - but I've only found one cache in the whole country (in Brussels)
It looks like the map on p0cy's profile has the correct north-west corner (Belgium shows in the top-left of the map and is very black, suggesting that the county borders are added), but the south-east corner is shifted about 150 degrees east and about 30 degrees south.
Sumbloke, you described exactly what the problem is in more precise terms.

The reason for this is that we dynamically calculate the bounding box of the maps. It was easier than deciding a box for 250 countries manually, and then one for every region and one for every county. It would have been like a million boxes.

Then someone has published the cache GC60D3T which has quite faulty coordinates. It is now archived which will make our maps ignore it in the future. So p0cy just had unlucky timing.

I have started to purge our local data-caches and here the maps looks normal now again. But, due to external data-caching it might take 1-2 weeks before it's proper for everyone.

Off topic:

  1. How can someone think it's a good idea to log it?
  2. Why did the reviewer publish it, note that the location hasn't changed.

What a funny story ! a cache in the middle of nowhere published by a newbie (1 geocache found). That's clearly a mistake of the reviewer who shouldn't have published it and noboby should have loggued it (a "write note" would have been more adequate)
