Last saturday I've found my  first caches in the Netherlands. The maps do already  list them, whereas the founds /milestones don't. Do  the maps follow another update procedure than the rest of the statistics?

No, all data updates at the same time.

What maps?

Profile Statistics are generated daily or weekly depending on your payment status.

Everything else on the site is more or less live from our data. Our data is normally about a day behind reality though.

I meant the maps-section in the profile statistics. Under the Europe map was written "Netherlands: 3" while the found and milestones-section did not yet list these caches. Now, one day later, the three dutch caches appear in theses lists too. I do know about the one-day-lag concerning the project-gc-statisticts - that's why I wondered about the fast country update in the maps-section :-)
Sounds weird. It should not be able to happen. If it is like that, then it's a bug.

The process of creating the Profile stats starts with creating a few temporary tables with all relevant data. This data is not changed by anything else and automatically removed after a while. Therefore, the number of finds should be consistent.

I am not saying it's impossible, but I can not imagine how it would happen. I also took a fast glance at the map-code, and from what I can see, it is using the correct tables.
