Is there a maximum to the number of Badgen loops displayed on the Badgen tab?

I have recently passed a total of 5,000 favourite points on my caches (thanks if any of you have contributed to this total).

Each loop of "The Favourite Cacher" is 500 favourite points but my loop count is 9. Is this the maximum count permitted under badgegen rules or a bug?

Yes, there is a max and you just found it. It is (currently, at least) only possible to get one-digit loop badges. Anything over 9 is still rendered as 9.

As a comment to this. BadgeGen is not a product of Project-GC. We have only made an implementation of it, with permission. The rules are set by the owner of the project, and it's his decision that it's a limit of 9 (I agree it's a good limit though).
