hidden since Jan 1st /hidden in the whole year

Question

I expect that the numbers for "ince 1 of January" and "whole year" are the same for the current year. That holds for "caches found", but not for "caches hidden" Is there a reason for that?

The bug has been fixed, but a new bug has been implemented.
The numbers for "since 1 of January" and "whole year" are the same for the current year now. which is correct, but this holds now also for the previous year which is in my understanding not correct. My understanding is that as of today (07.Feb. 2016) "since 1st of January" means for 2015 the time from Jan 1st to Feb 7th. Is my understanding correct?

I assume it's related to http://project-gc.com/Statistics/Overview?country=Germany&submit=Filter

I can see two reasons.

1. They are not generated at the exact same point in time, and some more data might enter the system meanwhile. This should give smaller differences though.
2. One of them included "todays date", the other didn't.

For the second one I have applied a patch in our development environment which will go live later this week.
