Hi all,

I'd like to know if it could be possible to have a different icon for solved mystery caches on a map ?

thanks for your answer.

When a cache has corrected coordinates, there will be a green check mark in the lower right corner of the cache icon (regardless of cache type). For me, this is enough to distinguish solved ones from non-solved ones. I make sure to add the posted start coordinates in the personal cache note as well for mysteries where there is something to do at the initial spot (most challenges, as well as field puzzles) in order to force this check mark on the cache icon.

As pinkunicorn says, there will be a green 'tick' for ones which have corrected co-ordinates. The thing is with that though, that you have to actually correct the co-ordinates on the cache page first, before project-GC will recognise it.

To do this, go to the cache page and click the pencil icon next to the co-ordinates. It'll then ask you to input the correct co-ordinates. Once you do this, Project-GC should pick them up the next time it runs your stats (or at a similar time) and it will show on the PGC map.

That in not quite true. Corrected coordinates added with the pen on the cache might be detected on pgc but it is not certain. Because there is no way to retriever all coordinates a user has corrected.
If you add a myst/multi the the vgps and rebuild with "Refresh corrected coordinates" the pen corrected will be fetched for the caches in the vgps

If you also add the coordinates to the "Personal Cache Note" on the cache page pgc will find the. All cache notes can be fetched at once and they are retrieved once a day.

So is recommend to add the corrected coordinate both with the pen tool and in the Personal Cache Note.

With the notes corrected coordinates can be added to all cache types not just mysts and multis
I only ever add corrected coordinates to the Personal Cache Note, not as Corrected Coordinates. I've never had problems with that. I still get all the corrected caches placed where they really are on the maps in Project-GC and when I export them to my GPS I do that via Project-GC which will place them at the corrected place. Sometimes I cache with my phone, and then c:geo will add an extra waypoint for the coordinates it found in the Personal Cache Note, so it works there as well.

If I should download a gpx directly from geocaching.com I wouldn't get the corrected coordinates, but then I never do that, so I prefer to save the work of double-entering everything.
Yes, c:geo definitely works from the Personal Note, but I wasn't sure whether Project-GC did or not. I thought it more likely that PGC would work from the corrected co-ordinates.
Project-GC does do both, but as Target says you need to work extra to get it to reliably read in info from the corrected coordinates field.
