I've noticed that when people request a checker they often forget to do one of three things:

1. Put the GC code in the request
2. Check whether there is already a checker for that GC code
3. Put a brief description of what the challenge requirements are.

Rather than using the standard Ask a question form instead for checker requests people should be directed to a special form which prompts them to put the GC code and the challenge requirements in. When submit is pressed on this form project-gc should check whether a checker already exists and if it does just point them to it,  otherwise it should generate the question for them with a standard subject "Checker request: GCxyz - Some Challenge" and a populated question including the challenge requirements etc.

Perhaps this could be on the challenge checker page as well. A request a checker option. The enter the GC code and if the checker exists it shows them it if not it opens the form as suggested and once they fill out the info it posts to this forum and then takes them to their post so they know where to look for an update.

I agree. But with Challenges being in the state they are now, we are waiting a bit with development.

But we do also have some contact with Groundspeak on the matter. As soon as we know where things are going we will know if we want to spend more or less time on the project.

EDIT: To be clear, with "the project", I meant the Challenge checker system.
