It's a rule that elevation data for highest peaks given by some API (e.g. Google) are significantly wrong. Resolution used  is simply too low for high mountains to determine if cache is up there on the peak or hundreds of metres lower in deep valley. This skews quite much statistics about highest located caches - often hundreds of metres down.

In GSAK I have an option to correct elevation data manually, but don't know what would be the best solution for project-gc.

Project-GC has 3 major projects planned. Major in the way that we expect a lot of work hours on them.

  1. Finalize the Challenge checker system. Mostly changes in the workflow of creating them.
  2. Virtual GPS version 2. Mostly of the Virtual GPS system will be rewritten, the goal is to make it faster and more flexible.
  3. Adjust values in Profile Stats. The idea here is to be able to alter any data of your finds, and add/remove finds from your data.

These will most likely be done in the above order. The plan is to be able to finish them all this year, but it's starting to get less and less likely. It is very hard to find the time for bigger projects right now. There are way too many small things to handle, which interupts the focus. But it's still possible that we will manage them all this year.
