The message I get when trying to visit your profile stats is that you've opted out of 3rd party data sharing, this is done at Geocaching.com. Have you checked your settings there too?

Your friend have opted to include caches on the official ignore list and you have opted to exclude it and since GC2PPNP is on the list you're getting this result. This can be changed in the profile stats settings.

You seem to be misunderstanding what "You have 2 logs according to Project-GC" means. An announcement is a log, a note is a log, a DNF is a log. Having multiple logs on caches is normal, expected and does not have any general effect on your total amount of caches.

If you've updated an attended log to a write note log there might be a delay in the system before that's caught, but the script has nothing to do with that. If you're still seeing the issue my advice would be to use the self support-button to refresh your cache finds or the specific cache.

As far as I can see, you have found 58 caches that are T5 and have the Boat attribute. Diamond level for the Rugged badge is 150 caches, so that means that you need 150 T5 caches with the Boat attribute to get the Boad addon.

Sure. You can use the Map D/T Matrix page for that. Here is an example that shows which combos you don't have and give suggestions within Sweden for them. Just change to another area in the post-filter if you want suggestions elsewhere.

Why doesn't the virtual GPS button show up on the 360 tool map?

I am an active member and have used the 360 tool to identify sectors where I need to find caches. When I select a sector on the map, I can see the available caches within that sector, but I do not see the virtual GPS icon on the map to be able to select the lasso tool. I can add caches to my active virtual GPS one at a time by clicking on the cache icon and then selecting the add to GPS icon, though that is terribly inefficient.

It's called "Loop number" now, but it's still there. Note that you need to look in the Add filter box for prefilters, not postfilters.

if you are talking about maximum limit of geocaches shown when you use some filters, i thing that it used to be 1000 (?) and now it is more: 3000 (not 300).

Press a support button, self support and the first item in the list. Wait a few minutes and reload your Profile stats.

A fix is coming in the next release of Profile stats. Which is an accidental side-effect from another change. Mostly affecting users without a paid membership.

A fix to the Live map has been released. There was a faulty rounding implemented. All D and T was rounded to zero decimals. So 1.5 became a 2.0 and so on.

Addons are shown for gemstone badges only, that means "ruby or higher", as you've only got platinum for multis you need to level up your badge before the addon will show up.

Assuming you're a paying member, use the lasso tool (click on the mobile phone symbol, then the icon immediately on its right) to loop round the caches, which will add them to your VGPS. You can then export to a GPX file from the VGPS.

My guess is that you have entered CITO in the post filter instead of in the pre filter. That means that it will only suggest CITOs for non-filled areas, but it will consider all your finds to determine which areas should be green or red. If you enter CITOs in prefilter, then only your CITO finds will be considered.

I can see users with underscore and a few other 'odd' characters, are you sure what you are seing is not due to that users settings on https://www.geocaching.com/account/settings/userprivacy ?

If they opt out of sharing information with sites like Project GC they are listed as [unknown name] in many places

What do you mean that you can't access some premium things? If you mean that there are some labels "paying members only" those are shown to everyone to indicate which functions are just for paying members. The difference is that for paying members the functions still work. Have you tried using these functions and they don't work? If so, where does it say that you are a paid member of Project-GC?

Hallo zusammen,

ich habe nun die Live-karte für mich entdeckt und bin auch ein Fan vom virtuellen GPS.
Auf der Live-karte würde ich gerne die angezeigten Caches (entweder alle sichtbaren oder durch Auswahl eines Polygons) in mein virtuelles GPS übertragen.
Gibt es so eine Funktion und habe ich die übersehen?

In order for Project-GC to detect FTFs, you need to "tag" your logs, as described in the FAQ. Alternatively, you can create an FTF bookmark list.

(If you have been doing so, please provide some sample GC codes of caches you expect to see and we can look into it.)

Not that I know of. All the streaks powering the various Top Lists are pre-computed.

Project-GC determined that there was a bug in the process through which "most central" caches were calculated. For example, the central coordinates for Uppsala, Sweden were calculated to be approximately here:

Similarly, the centroid of Spain was calculated to be where the blue pin is, when the red pin is the generally-accepted center.

We apologize for this error.

I will also mention that we recently released the tool "Map Extremes" at https://project-gc.com/Tools/MapExtremes. Using this tool, you can put onto a map the extreme geocaches in any country/region/county (or multiple) as you please.

For example, on the main page listing ones stats with the tabs Finds, Milestones, FTFs, etc,

it has the graph that shows the finds by year and cumulative. then below that it shows breakdown by year. 2026 only has finds for month of January. (148 caches and 11 labs, which it indicates under the months for the year)

my 2025 year section, says I have TOTAL FINDS of 930. but the spot under the months for the year 2025 says specifically, "Includes 1062 Adventure Labs"

This is the spot I'm asking about. I'm sure the lab count is accurate, because I know I did a good amount of hundreds for the month of July. but for the TOTAL FINDS says 930, and the note underneath says includes the labs. if that is the case, then the TOTAL FINDS should be close to 2000.

I know Geocaching treats them differently. And til recently here as well and i see that being a paid member adds functionality. I just think the Total Finds should be updated if the generated page puts a note that the labs are included or not regards of paid status

The tool you're using is showing months you haven't found already. As you've logged June 2003 any cache hidden in that month will not show up in the tool. If you just want all the caches hidden in 2003 you should use Map Compare instead, as that can be used to show all caches.

I'm currently working on completing my 365-day challenge statistics and only have 5 days left until the end of the year. I've suddenly noticed that March 16th is missing from my statistics. However, I logged a challenge on that day: https://coord.info/GC51W5Z. This cache is no longer showing up in my logged challenges list. What could be the reason for this? My log entry hasn't been deleted and has been there since I logged it on March 16th, 2019. Can anyone help me so I can find the cache in my statistics and have it displayed correctly?

Answering myself after much searching: Tools> Maps> Map Compare then only your username and add place filters (or it is crazy slow) and add date as filter. I had to add a center/radius to get something usable. Phew.
