It looks like there's a bug, where if you have your "Home Location-Based Module Privacy" setting set to "Friends only", that doesn't include yourself. This has been fixed in code, and will be released to the site shortly.

As far as I can see, four of your events lack Attended logs. Some because they haven't happend yet, others because they were cancelled. Either way, Project-GC only counts events that actually had participants.

5) No. This was based on manual research over a period of ~three months and have since been updated multiple times. What you're asking for do not exist and is not possible to create or keep updated. Even if you manage to match it exactly today it might differ tomorrow or next week and it will be guaranteed to not match next year.

There's a subtle different between these two tables. On the profile, you find "events by event date". With Needed found dates, you find events by found date. This means that whenever you have logged an event on the wrong date (which used to be possible, but can't be done now), there will be differences between these two tables.

As far as I can see, you have found 58 caches that are T5 and have the Boat attribute. Diamond level for the Rugged badge is 150 caches, so that means that you need 150 T5 caches with the Boat attribute to get the Boad addon.

Playing around with the map compare function - as suggested by Optimist on the Run

Putting my ID in the first box and nothing in the second player box

Then

when I select the 'Found by one player' option in the 'show' box - it shows just caches (active and archived) I have found and no other

and when I select 'Found by both players' - nothing appears, anywhere !

when I select the 'geocaches found by no player' (which seems very specific ) in the show box - resulting in nothing that I didn't know about in the area in question (but does populate with caches further afield (and they are ones I haven't found) - so presumably that means there is nothing more to be listed in that small area I am looking at and I have therefore identified everything that has been placed in that location, ever.

Sure. You can use the Map D/T Matrix page for that. Here is an example that shows which combos you don't have and give suggestions within Sweden for them. Just change to another area in the post-filter if you want suggestions elsewhere.

The region on Geocaching.com is selected by the user. The region on Project-GC is calculated based on the coordinates. The most common reason that they differ is because the user have selected the wrong region on Geocaching.com, sometimes they differ because Project-GCs data is incorrect. Considering that the UK is a horrible country when it comes to data it could go either way there tbh.

Why doesn't the virtual GPS button show up on the 360 tool map?

I am an active member and have used the 360 tool to identify sectors where I need to find caches. When I select a sector on the map, I can see the available caches within that sector, but I do not see the virtual GPS icon on the map to be able to select the lasso tool. I can add caches to my active virtual GPS one at a time by clicking on the cache icon and then selecting the add to GPS icon, though that is terribly inefficient.

Since you haven't logged the cache (as you own it), it's not included as a completed extreme. If you absolutely want to achieve that extreme, I guess your options are to adopt the cache to someone else and then log it, or just wait for someone else to place an even extremer cache.

It's called "Loop number" now, but it's still there. Note that you need to look in the Add filter box for prefilters, not postfilters.

With a lot of signed challenges it is difficult and time-consuming to go thru the list looking for cache size, DT, attributes etc. Is it possible to add filtering options to the page, eg. "Filter out/in all challenges requiring climbing gear".

On the profile stats page, https://project-gc.com/Statistics/ProfileStats, there is a link stating "Permanent link to this profile." When I click the link, it takes me to https://project-gc.com/ProfileStats/Optimist+on+the+run which returns the error "This profile does not exist."

The URL should not have the + signs in it.

if you are talking about maximum limit of geocaches shown when you use some filters, i thing that it used to be 1000 (?) and now it is more: 3000 (not 300).

Press a support button, self support and the first item in the list. Wait a few minutes and reload your Profile stats.

A fix is coming in the next release of Profile stats. Which is an accidental side-effect from another change. Mostly affecting users without a paid membership.

A fix to the Live map has been released. There was a faulty rounding implemented. All D and T was rounded to zero decimals. So 1.5 became a 2.0 and so on.

UPDATE: Found Issue: Not currently able to map unfound caches when looking at county maps

The issue was that "exclude unfound" was checked, which meant it wasn't showing any unfound caches. Don't remember checking that, but unchecking it fixed the issue.

No caches are showing up when I go to map unfound caches while looking in the "Map Counties" section. I'm a paid member and logged in.

Addons are shown for gemstone badges only, that means "ruby or higher", as you've only got platinum for multis you need to level up your badge before the addon will show up.

This is because they have selected to opt out of being shown at Project-GC via the privacy settings at geocaching.com. This is not a bug, it's working as intended.

Assuming you're a paying member, use the lasso tool (click on the mobile phone symbol, then the icon immediately on its right) to loop round the caches, which will add them to your VGPS. You can then export to a GPX file from the VGPS.

This will be fixed today, hopefully even released in 1-2 hours from now. When rewriting the whole Virtual GPS system we missed the polygon tool. From a file system perspective it's not a part of Project-GC, but written as a plugin for the map engine (Leaflet). Therefore we missed the fact that it used virtualgps-code, and we just didn't think about it. The single add/remove just happen to be 100% compatible, while the bulk add/remove isn't.

The complexity of a spherical earth. Probably not the exact same math formula used. Could very well be intentional to optimize the computing time. The important thing is that the geocaches shown won't change direction in the future, the beams are just a visual layer.

My guess is that you have entered CITO in the post filter instead of in the pre filter. That means that it will only suggest CITOs for non-filled areas, but it will consider all your finds to determine which areas should be green or red. If you enter CITOs in prefilter, then only your CITO finds will be considered.

I can see users with underscore and a few other 'odd' characters, are you sure what you are seing is not due to that users settings on https://www.geocaching.com/account/settings/userprivacy ?

If they opt out of sharing information with sites like Project GC they are listed as [unknown name] in many places

This is a manual process that is done by a volunteer when they happen to find out that there is a new souvenir that needs to be categorized and when they have the time to fix that. It's usually done within a week but sometimes takes longer when the responsible volunteer for example is traveling.

Custom lists

Hi

I am trying to set up a custom list to place in the milestones tab
I have gone through the process of naming, selecting the tab (milestones) and selecting bookmark list for the type - selecting which bookmark I want as the source (having put my ID in that section too)
I then clicked on submit and then save

Nothing - all that appears is a heading banner (with what I named ) but no cache list - shows '0'
I am aware of others do the same list and advising that their list populated straight away
I also waited a day once submitted and saved to see if waiting would help - but still no
I did consider the bookmark list status as a possible barrier so have tried this with the bookmark list set at private, shareable and public and it didn't work with any of these

I also tried by using the GC code list (copy paste comma seperated list into the box) but this came up with an error message every time -
Internal server error (6998be7ee19c07.70822645)

Though the last bit changed each time I tried that.

Though the bookmark list would be the better way to go as having to update the GC list would be more faff

I am not sure what I am doing wrong here - if anything

Please help

*Edit* - having tried several times to get this working, the day after I wrote this post I tried again and this time it worked - possibly a brief glitch, but now sorted

What do you mean that you can't access some premium things? If you mean that there are some labels "paying members only" those are shown to everyone to indicate which functions are just for paying members. The difference is that for paying members the functions still work. Have you tried using these functions and they don't work? If so, where does it say that you are a paid member of Project-GC?

ich habe nun die Live-karte für mich entdeckt und bin auch ein Fan vom virtuellen GPS.
Auf der Live-karte würde ich gerne die angezeigten Caches (entweder alle sichtbaren oder durch Auswahl eines Polygons) in mein virtuelles GPS übertragen.
Gibt es so eine Funktion und habe ich die übersehen?

I am trying to delete a Virtual GPS list. I click 'Delete' then in asks if I am sure. I click 'Yes' and nothing happens. I have tried it in Chrome and Edge. This used to work, but stopped working a few months ago.
