The search for cache numbers is easy on GC site using the filter and selecting find dates (between) - for you this amounts to 714

As for Ad Labs the only way i can see to do this is on the Ad Lab website and click on 'view finds'
This takes you to the logs page - https://labs.geocaching.com/logs
From there scroll down and count the ALs between those dates
Laborious I know - but I don't know any other way

In case the overall statistics change, Project-GC's challenge checker can cause confusions because some caches will remain incomplete caches. I suggest you check the rules of the challenge and see whether the Automatic checker has registered all finds correctly. The useful info regarding how auto-challenge-checkers work is a good start. It's somewhat like the case with Kolkata Fatafat results.

Why is the Found (Hittad) column in Virtual GPS always blank when you export to CSV

The virtual GPS is extremely useful, and I also export the data to csv for further handling in Excel. All columns with their values are exported to the csv file, except the first "Found" column which always contain no data. (I guess it is because it contains a smiley icon).

If possible I would like some indication for found caches in the csv file. Now I have the workaround to use GSAK for the find indication (and my ound date if I am interested) and "synchronize" the GSAK output with project-GC output.

Create a Custom Filter (https://project-gc.com/User/CustomFilters) for geocaches owned by you. You can do this by creating a custom filter, adding a statement, and then writing your name in the field "Geocache owner" under "Basic stats". Add the statement, and then save the filter. Then, use the Top Logged Geocaches (https://project-gc.com/Statistics/TopLoggedGeocaches) tool, add a Custom filter, and then choose the filter you just created.

Yes. You can use the MapCompare tool, and add the "Hidden calendar day" filter and only fill in the month field.

To get that addon, you have to find enough old virtuals to qualify for the diamond badge for virtuals (i.e. one is not enough).

Glitch with PGC or GC

I had a notification today that a FP was removed from a specific cache naming the cacher who removed it
I checked with the cacher as I suspected it may have been a glitch and he had not removed the FP and when it was all checked the log shows that he had awarded one and that it was still there.
So, no worries about FPs being removed - but why would I have had a notification to say this had occurred when it evidently had not - is this a glitch PGC end or GC end ?

All these countries use OSM boundaries as their source. Some of them use regions that are researched from official sources, but they are still built on combining different OSM boundaries. Pretty sure that the only country in the entire world that's not using OSM as the source is Canada.

Easiest way to duplicate them is probably to work with https://osm-boundaries.com/map and compare against the Map Regions. But you should know that this data can be updated at any time so having them match is not a "once and done" kind of project.

You might want to use https://project-gc.com/Challenges//108023 instead. It does approximately the same thing, only backwards. It has a list of cache types which it considers your "want list" and then shows you for each date what you need to log to complete all the types on your want list.

The current want list is "Traditional Cache", "Multi-Cache", "Mystery Cache", "EarthCache", "Letterbox Hybrid", "Wherigo Cache", "Virtual Cache", "Event Cache", "Lab Cache", and "Challenge Cache" (which is considered a cache type for this purpose even though it technically isn't).

If you want, I can tag a separate checker with the exact want list you need. The want list can also include sizes, difficulties and terrains.

You have only attended two Mega-Events. You have also attended three Block Parties, but they are a separate cache type. Most checkers will consider megas and block parties to be two different things.

(In contrast, the Mega badge in the Profile Stats counts Block Parties to the Mega-Event badge.)

As far as I know there's no setting for this. There is the color blind-setting in settings, but that doesn't affect all pages and Live map seems to be one of those not affected.

No, this is not possible. The MapNESW tool computes the extremes on-the-fly, and allows arbitrary filtering, eg. you can use it to find the northernmost Multi-cache in an area or the easternmost geocache with the "Tree climbing" attribute.

The centroid computation is far, far more expensive, and so we only compute it once per day and without any filters applied. This data is made available at https://project-gc.com/Tools/MapExtremes. (Incidentally, this is also why the MapExtremes tool doesn't allow any filtering of any kind.)

That is how nearly every stat on Project-GC works. All the statistics awards are instantaneous awards, not lifetime. For example, if you have an badge for finding so many favorite points, and then a few thousand people delete the favourites they awarded on caches you have foundn you will drop down a step. Far fetched? The Author badge is much much easier to lose your level in.

And the same way, if the cache you have found is no longer the top elevation you no longer get the top elevation (extreme) award.

If you want to check for a smaller area than country you would have to do manual searches and compare on your own. I'd probably use MapCompare for that, or some creative filtering and an account with zero logs in the Map D/T Matrix-tool.

Karma - what does it really mean

I was perusing my stats as you do and spotted the karma figure again and pondered over the figure and what it really means and does it reflect an imbalance.
I was told some time ago that to be a good cacher you have to have a high karma value. That simply means you have to have many more cachers log finds on your caches than you have finds of your own
Well - my karma figure is only 0.47 and I am not too bothered by that - I have just under 100 caches out there all in a rural area (so not a tremendous footfall compared to places like capital cities) - all have FPs and the FP count I have on mine gives the FP index figure of 23.9% of premium logs meaning nearly 1 in 4 PM cachers give an FP on one or other of my caches - I am quite chuffed with that - as a CO that is my karma figure.
So going back to the imbalance I mentioned - I took a look at two other cachers specifically because of what they have out there, to show what I mean
1) CO 'A' who has over 3000 caches owned - has a karma figure of 6.69 - over 14 times my figure - well no wonder, with that many caches he is potentially going to get 30 times the number of find logs than I have - though his FP index is only 4.3%
2) CO 'B' who has just over 100 caches but a few of these (around 6) are in a big city - these 6 between them account for half the find logs he has got - unsurprising in the big city they will attract the far greater footfall particularly from foreign visitors. His Karma is 8.11 and because of where they are they attract FPs and his index is 25.3%

So not belittleing the effort put into any of this - for the cacher who places fewer caches in a rural area the footfall will be much lower and as an active finder this will mean the karma will always be low - pushing out so many caches will always push the number of finders up and the CO could be just as active if not more in finding caches but the balance with the karma is so different. Seems to suggest to push your karma up you should either pump out a load of caches (which to be honest will also mean poor quality) to get the 'find of your caches' rate up more - or you just don't go out finding any caches which will slowly push the karma up as cachers find your caches.
Equally the cacher who puts out caches in a rural location will get so much less footfall than even a single cache in a big city and despite the appreciation through FPs for those rural caches - the karma balance is still weighed towards the COs caches in big cities simply because of the footfall.

So what is that figure really for, and what do folk strive for if at the end of the day it doesn't really matter that you have a very low score yet your contribution is really appreciated. I guess what I am saying is that karma figure is not really required as it can muddy the waters when other folk look at them (and they do) and then compare them

I just used Claude ...... and he explained what the issue was with the Hint Decrypt section (I had to give him the html section of the code from a cache page). anyway, I tested this and it appears to fix the issue. Lines 966-969 of the script.

The sorting issue sems to be solved, all lines stay in sync.

I would like to be able to enlarge the table to the right and to the bottom as it was before, now you have to work with the arrow in the table and/or decrease the column wodths. It works but a bit more work to customise the view. Sorry, I missed the maximise option. That makes it great!

I would personally be against such a badge.

When you are abroad you probably will not be able to make events larger than typical 30-minute 'meet and greet' events. So you would need to host many of them, and that would really promote quantity over quality...

Also you would probably not meet many geocachers at such events, you probably would even be alone in team of event hosts many times. As an example, in my home area, even though there are several active geocachers, many of recent meet and greet events hosted by cachers from abroad here were either attended only by event hosts, or I was the only event attendee other than the event hosts there.

There's no tool that shows that if that's what you're asking. As most people have usually logged the cache before adopting it the "Find Bad Logs"-tool is usually a pretty good indicator for adopted caches. It still requires manual research to see if they were adopted and in what direction tho.

Custom lists on FTF tab

It would be great to be able to add custom lists to the FTF tab in Profile Stats. Currently, this is only possible on the Milestones tab and the Hiden tab.

For example, I would like to add a list of "real" FTFs that do not include all-day friendly FTFs or event FTFs.

Someone could add, for example, a list of STFs and TTFs.
