Its been awhile since i last looked. Trying to fill in the counties map for Florida. I use to be able to find it but the data format looks different. I found under statistics tag and found the map tag but it doesn't give me the map break down by county. Help please.

New Issue with the PGC Greasemonkey script???

all of a sudden, some of the functionality of the script seems to be not working.... For example:

1. The Hints are no longer automatically decrypted.

2. Right before the user logs, I no longer see the options to select "My Logs" or "Friends".

Did something change? I see the issue with both Chrome and Tampermonkey AND with Firefox and Violentmonkey. I have the latest greasemonkey script (3.0.7) on both browser extensions.

Hidden Date Calendar

A while back someone shared a checker with me that gave a calendar for every single year, starting in 2000. Each calendar showed the hidden dates of caches I had found. It is not associated with any challenge, it was simply for information purposes.

If there is a way to show a hidden dates found calendar for a specific year, I'll take that as well. I know of the Map Hidden Date tool, but I want to see the calendar.

"lost" extreme Top Elevation

My understanding of how the extremes on Project-GC work was that tonce you have claimed it, it remains permanently, regardless of whether any cache later surpasses "your find" in it's particular category.

In my home district, there is a cache at an elevation of 709 metres that has been there since 2008. I found it on 29 May 2026, and it was recorded as the highest cache in the district at that time. On 23 August 2026, a new cache was published at an elevation of 716 metres. The new "Top Elevation". BUT/AND the Top Elevation extreme for my district is now missing from my statistics.

I have a feeling that something like this has already happened to me at least once before, but in this case I am absolutely certain. I can verify exactly which cache it was, what its elevation was, that its elevation has not been changed, when I logged it, and which cache has now replaced it as the highest one.

Is this a bug, or are extremes actually supposed to be overwritten and disappear like this? If that is how it works ... why would I deliberately make a detour to find an extreme in a foreign country, only to lose it later simply because someone publishes a new cache that surpasses it?

I would appreciate clarification on how this is supposed to work.

update: wilson score is so dynamic thing that it's loosing any meaning whatsoever this way (?)

Filter the Virtual GPS list by your own finds

In my opinion, it would be a good idea if the Virtual GPS table could also be filtered by the “Found (by me)” property, so that you can, for example, exclude your own finds.

Badge for hosting events in different countries

I realize there is a badge for hosting events, but I think it would be neat if one was awarded for hosting events in different countries. Is this something that could be considered? Sorry if this was asked/requested before, but nothing came up when I searched.

Potential memory leak issue in Coming Events tool?

Starting today, the event list in Coming Events tool started taking much longer time to load than previously. In addition, while it is loading, RAM memory usage increases significantly, reaching up to 2 GB before the list loads, suggesting that there might be a memory leak issue there.

This does not seem to happen on other map tools, such as Map Compare, Map DT Matrix or Map Extremes, only Coming Events tool.

Using Chrome browser on a Windows 10 22H2 PC.

I always seem to miss the ‘Back to top’ button here.

It’s not a big deal in itself, but once you’ve scrolled right to the bottom, a button like that would be really handy, if not essential.

Can you remove the notifier email's text directing you to the unsubscribe link?

At the top of the notifier emails there is some text which tells you to look at the bottom of the email for the unsubscribe link. Can this be removed? It is superfluous, and means notifications on my Garmin watch have this text first, rather than the information about the newly published cache. Only a limited amount of text is sent to the watch, and often it cuts off before the important bit

Is it possible to get a .csv of my geocache finds?

I am working a lot with google sheets to track my geocaching. I know you can download .csv files from the Virtual GPS, but is it possible to get a .csv file of my geocache finds? I think the Virtual GPS has a limit to the number of lines in can export.

I need some help with a challenge checker for my cache GCBTBZ6.

My challenge is the same type as GC9DE8W – Zubříkova Challenge 100 x D5/T5 (Czechia), which uses a Project-GC checker for finding 100 D5/T5 caches.

I cloned the checker from GC9DE8W because Project-GC says that an existing checker with the same configuration can be cloned to another GC-Code.

However, I seem to have ended up with the wrong/incorrect tag association. My reviewer says:

“The Project-GC checker is not for this cache. Please create a checker specifically for this cache.”

I tried to clone it again, but Project-GC now gives me:

“GC-Code already seems to be tagged with a checker”

I cannot create or edit checker tags myself, so I think my GC-Code GCBTBZ6 is already associated with the incorrect clone/tag.

Could you please help me fix this?

What I would like is simply a new checker/tag using the same checker script and configuration as GC9DE8W, but specifically associated with my cache GCBTBZ6.

The original checker I cloned is for:
GC9DE8W – Zubříkova Challenge 100 x D5/T5 (Czechia)

My cache is:
GCBTBZ6

I don't need a new checker script; the existing checker works for my challenge. I only need the checker/tag to be correctly associated with GCBTBZ6 so that the reviewer can verify that it is specifically for my cache.

Challenge checker corrupt

There is one checker that have stopped working for me (and som other nicks) but works for others. It doesn’t matter who is logged in. It does not work for me or boviken but for Quite_Frankly. Maybe there is some underlying log that is making the result corrupt?

There seems to be an issue with this checker for our 7 days of the week matrix challenge GCBNHK7 as Ive been informed it allows D/T finds from any country, it should only allow UK finds please could you investigate and create a new one to reflect the challenge.

Custom lists on FTF tab

It would be great to be able to add custom lists to the FTF tab in Profile Stats. Currently, this is only possible on the Milestones tab and the Hiden tab.

For example, I would like to add a list of "real" FTFs that do not include all-day friendly FTFs or event FTFs.

Someone could add, for example, a list of STFs and TTFs.

I set up two lists in past. One from GC codes in Hides and one from a bookmark in Milestones. Even then it was problematic, but after various attempts it worked. Now I'm trying to add one cache to the GC codes list, I don't change anything else and it doesn't work. Even if I change the list to bookmark-based.

I found a similar issue from February, which has not been closed.

Regular Profile Stats and Profile Stats including drafts mix up

Hi, I really appreciate the option to view statistics including uploaded drafts using the includeDrafts=1 URL flag. I think there's a bug in there, though.

I have both versions of the statistics open in two browser tabs:

The problem is that I often see the same variant displayed on both pages. Sometimes I regenerate the statistics for one variant, and that variant then appears in both panels at both URLs. Other times, I refresh the panel with the other variant, and that one overwrites the first one.

But sometimes it works as it should, and I see the correct version at every address. I can't say what determines whether it works correctly or not.

The problem is the same when using other URLs, including

Highest Cache in Region Saarland is wrong

The highest Cache for the map extreme is GC296B5 (674 m) but GCX8R8 is 694 m high. The reason is that the box in Project GC is in Rheinland Pfalz, but Geocaching list it in Saarland (It is located near the offical Mark "highest Point in Saarland)

How to mark failed FTF so they don't show up in forgotten FTF

It would be helpful if there was a keyword or something we could add to logs that were *not* FTFs so they wouldn't show up in the forgotten FTF tool. We have sometimes used STF but that would be pretty language dependent. Perhaps a dedicated (*notFTF*) or something like that would be better.

If there's already a way to do this that would be great to know. We have quite a lot of FTF races we lost :)

Finding hidden date returns no results

I found how to look for a specific hidden date regardless of year by using the Map - Hidden Date Tool. I entered the date and my username and it said there were none. I wondered if it was looking for a cache that I had hidden on that date, so I put in a date that I knew I had hidden a cache on. Still said none found. There should be a way to find hidden dates without having to do it one year at a time.

When I zoom the map with a touchscreen, it zooms the map image like it is a photo. Everything goes larger, including icons. When using a touchpad, it zooms and pans correctly. I am using Firefox. Is there anything I can do to make it work rationally?

Mystery cache symbols in GPS

Hello,

I recently discovered that when I create a GPX in Virtual GPS, transfer it to the GPS (Garmin H1), the symbols on mystery caches are changed from a standard question mark to a treasure chest in the GPS. All other symbols are the real standard symbols. I can't find them specifically in any list either, but they still work as a cache in some way in the map itself. Tried with and without choosing to correct the coordinates. Same result. Very strange.

However, if I download an individual mystery cache from GC.com, it becomes a real question mark symbol in the GPS.

This has not been a problem before and I have not updated the firmware in the GPS. Something seems to have happened in the GPX manufacturing here at PGC or what could it be? Anyone else having the same problem?

*Update*

I downloaded an older built GPX file to see how it worked and in it the symbols are now correctly displayed. This is strong evidence that something has gone wrong recently in the GPX file manufacturing process here.

Logs on my caches

Hi!

As the owner of more than 800 listings and roughly 500 active caches, I often use the search function to look up players and their logs on my caches. I still rely partly on email for this, but unfortunately my inbox is full, so I have to delete logs, and this feature is becoming less and less useful. For example, using the bookmarks for my own caches, I can find out which caches were found by whom, but I can no longer view the logs for them. Would it be possible to consider a feature where I could enter a cacher’s nickname somewhere and get all their logs on my caches?

In closing, I want to thank you for the great work you’re doing. When you see how perfectly project-gc.com works compared to the official Geocaching platform, it’s almost unbelievable.

Is there a way to search challenges by difficulty rating? It's the bold number next to the skull and crossbones on the checker page which is calculated by Project-GC. This search feature would be helpful as I would like to complete my challenge difficulty grid.

Not sure if this is intentional or not, but I see the "Permanent link to this profile" functionality in the Profile Stats page has changed. It used to be a clickable link that took you straight to the page, but now it gives you a box to copy the URL. Whilst I can see the benefit of this, I would prefer having a direct link. Is it possible to restore this please (as well as keeping the copy URL box).

Lab Caches in Stats

Most cachers use their GC account to collect both caches and labs. Hence Project-GC Stats show Labs as a tab on their individual Profile Stats page. A minority opted out and have 2 accounts = one for the real deal (geocaches) and the other as a sock account for AdLabs only. To reflect the "footwork involved" making valid geocache finds, as opposed to carpark "geoart" AdLab counts.

Until this weekend - for the last two months or so, one can view "Lab Caches" stats on their sock accounts. For me its SurdiVisio_AL. I can see which months or days are low or too high. However if I disable "Lab Caches" for my SurdiVisio account (PjGC paid membership), then the Labs tab disappears from my SV-AL stats. Is this an unintended bug or functioning as designed?

On my profile stats-page I get the warning "Your statistics are not visible to others!" If I expand the settings below and uncheck the checkbox "Completely hide my statistics from others" and click on "Save" nothing happens. When I refresh the page the warning is still shown and the checkbox checked again.

Move caches in live map to a list

On the 'Project-gc Live Map', I can do amazing things with filtering, zooming, &c. However, I see no way of saving the results to a list, or a gpx, or doing anything at all other than admiring the pretty colors.

There is no lasso, no button to save... Is there any way to save the displayed caches?

Order of caches in a day for statistics is incorrect

On the statistics page it is clearly stated that "Adventure Lab caches are sorted last for each day due to technical limitations and differences between various logging methods of geocaches.". However that seems to be untrue. The statistics page claims that my 17000th cache find was a lab cache found on 29th of June. After looking at this statistic, I logged several "real" caches on the same day, which should now be placed before the lab caches and make my 17000th find a "real" cache. That did not happen after regenerating the statistics, though. The 17000th find remains the same lab-cache as shown before.

So based on those observations, I would assume that the info that lab caches are always sorted last for a day is incorrect. Can somone confirm this bug or explain the behaviour?

Die Auswertung bei der Stadt Braunschweig ergibt die gleiche Fund Prozentzahl bei

User "GeoTschorny" und User "Floh1967".

Dies, obwohl "GeoTschorny" 3 Funde mehr in Braunschweig gefunden hat.

Wie kommt dies zu stande?

Find count not updating for specific cache

Not sure if this is a bug or not, but on my finds tab, the count for one of my caches, GC7X1XH, has been incorrect for several days. It should be 187 finds, but PGC still shows it at 186. I've refreshed that cache in self support several times, done a complete refresh of all my finds, and regenerated my statistics, all without success. There don't appear to be any duplicate logs. Any reason for this?
