Custom lists

Hi

I am trying to set up a custom list to place in the milestones tab
I have gone through the process of naming, selecting the tab (milestones) and selecting bookmark list for the type - selecting which bookmark I want as the source (having put my ID in that section too)
I then clicked on submit and then save

Nothing - all that appears is a heading banner (with what I named ) but no cache list - shows '0'
I am aware of others do the same list and advising that their list populated straight away
I also waited a day once submitted and saved to see if waiting would help - but still no
I did consider the bookmark list status as a possible barrier so have tried this with the bookmark list set at private, shareable and public and it didn't work with any of these

I also tried by using the GC code list (copy paste comma seperated list into the box) but this came up with an error message every time -
Internal server error (6998be7ee19c07.70822645)

Though the last bit changed each time I tried that.

Though the bookmark list would be the better way to go as having to update the GC list would be more faff

I am not sure what I am doing wrong here - if anything

*Edit* - having tried several times to get this working, the day after I wrote this post I tried again and this time it worked - possibly a brief glitch, but now sorted

Export to bookmark list: Please support creating new list

Exporting vgps to GC.com's bookmark lists is an important feature in p-gc, however, when it comes to exporting to a new list, p-gc can't create it, it says:

The bookmark list must already be created at Geocaching.com; this cannot be done via the API

Perhaps this was true long time ago but it is not true at this time. The GC Live API supports a method to create new bookmark lists:

CREATE LIST
This method will create a new list. It will return the created list.
Path: /v1/lists
HTTP Method: POST
Response Type: List
Response Codes: 201, 400, 401, 403, 404, 409, 422, 500
Restrictions: Basic members restriction applies. See Membership Restrictions section for more info. Users can only add bookmark lists and have a maximum of 100 bookmark lists. Opted-out user will return a 403 Forbidden status. See Third Party Data Sharing for more details.

Please add the create list function to the export vgps dialog as it simplifies the workflow a great deal. It removes the tedious work of switching back and forth between p-gc and gc.com. Besides, p-gc making the API call is much faster than clicking interactively through GC.com's slow UI.

Using Firefox. Just installed the web extension, which has a lot of nice features. However, when I click on add to list, it does not work. Tried loading and unloading. Tired on toggling "Add links for bookmark lists" both ways.

I'm trying to get my Virtual GPS to export to an already existing (and empty) bookmark list on Geocaching. It fails with an unknown error. I've tried logging out of both Project-GC and Geocaching and then logging back in. No joy. Any ideas what I might need to look at?

P.S. I can export the GPX files and a CSV just not to a bookmark list.

Not sure whther this is a bug or a temporary glitch, but when I try to export the VGPS to a bookmark list, all I get is a blank list in the bookmark list drop-down. Anyone else having this problem?

I like the feature of adding all to a list.

Can the qualifying caches identified by a challenge checker be added to a bookmark list?

Is it possible for a challenge checker to allow a user to add all the qualifying caches it identifies to a bookmark list?

That would be extremely helpful for grandfathered challenges that request a bookmark list containing qualifying caches.

If not, can anyone suggest an alternative way to quickly and easily add all qualifying caches identified by a challenge checker to a bookmark list?

Map places cache at N0.0 E0.0

I have stumbled across a strange bug. This particular cache gets plottet at N0.0 E0.0 even though it it placed at N 56° 17.248 E 009° 08.018:

Using Bookmarks to generate lists

I understand that for the FTF list cachers can use a bookmark listing their FTF caches and this is used to generate their FTF list under the FTF Tab

Can the same process be used to generate the lists for the Challenge cache list

I see a usefulness for three different lists

Challnege caches qualified for and found
Challenge caches qualified for but not found
Challenge caches found but not qualified for

as there is an issue with identifying correct challenge caches (unknowns with the word challenge in it that aren't challenge caches for example)
or challenge caches that have 'notes' but these aren't "signed but not qualified" notes

if cachers had bookmarks for the different categories this could help alleviate this problem

How do I get caches with corrected coordinates to show up at their actual position with the map bookmark list

I've been solving some puzzles and have them saved to a Bookmark List. When I use the 'Map Bookmark List' they still show up at their published location not the corrected coordinates. I've updated the coordinates just below where they are normally listed and in the Personal Cache Notes area.

I want to create a list of caches I've found that are within a public bookmark list. I've tried doing this with the custom filter, but the the bookmark tab just comes up with NYI. Are there any plans to implement this, or is there another way I can do this?
