BadgeGen, Calendar Cacher is not calculating correctly. It gives too high number (3291) for me. In addition, it does not count up after I log in new dates, but has stood still for a long time. Maybe waiting for me (2752) to catch up? :)

Why doesn't the author badge filter out repeated spam?

As it is, the badge encourages many cachers to post long irrelevant parts to their logs, for instance excerpts from Wikipedia articles or just ASCII art. This makes reading logs a worse experience than the alternative where cachers just write extremely short logs, as the information conveied stays the same, while being a lot more tedious to read through.

Could be badge not be designed to filter out repeated parts in logs, or at the very least to exclude ASCII art?

Find count suddenly inaccurate

Up to today my find count on Proj-GC has lined up with what is shown at GC.com. I started the day on 2204, found 13 caches, and now am reported as 2207 finds. 10 finds aren't being reported. The last find for the day is shown as the current milestone, so it was picked up, just not 10 others? I've run two of the self serve refreshes and waited overnight, but it is still off..... any suggestions?

I recently upgraded to paid membership. For the last couple of weeks my trackable count on geocaching.com has been 1 higher than on project-gc. Currently it's 437 on geocaching and 436 on project-gc (between geocoins and geo tags). Has anyone noticed a discrepancy in their stats?

Count of cache owners caches found

Is there somewhere in the stats you can see how many different cache owners you have found caches from. The main stats Find By Owner section lists the top cache counts by CO but doesn't include info on how many COs you've found caches of.

If this info doesn't exist could I request it is added please. Possibly along with a new stat in the main body along the lines of Karma - unique visitors finding your hides vs unique COs you've found caches of.

Isn't it fascinating to think about geocachers beginning at very young ages, sometimes at birth with the help of a parent logging for them, and how many finds or achievements those kids could accomplish in the next 50 years?

We've already reached a time when 1,000 cache finds is the norm and closing in on 10,000 finds for the serious geocachers, which for those folks, can be done in just a few years.

Perhaps, many years from now, 100,000 finds will be viewed as a common and easy goal.

My project-gc count is one less than my geocaching.com one. I think I know how this happened. The other day I accidentally completely deleted a found log and went back right away to recreate it as found on the same day with the same text and same images. This is all I can think of that would have caused the difference. Will this just heal itself on PGC or will I always be off by one now? Thanks

Does anyone if there is an existing checker for the 12/12 challenge - GC42GHP in California?

If not, would it be feasible to create one with the various criterias needed to fulfil the challege?

The requirements are as below :

1. 12 different icons earned

2. 12 souvenirs earned

3. 12 trackables moved/discovered

4. 12 consecutive days streak of caching (or longer)

5. 12 different months with at least 12 finds per month

6. 12 finds placed in 2012

7. 12 finds on 12/12 (any/all years)

8. 12 of each type of container found

9. 12 difficulty 5 finds

10. 12 terrain 5 finds

11. 12 finds less than 1 mile, or greater than 1000 miles from your home coords

12. 12 finds with the number "12" in the title
