Feature request: Write Notes list for Earth caches

How do you log earth caches? I log them with a write note, so that I get my logging in order (especially re trackable visits) (especially when it was found on a big geocaching trip), then later (possibly immediately, possibly much later) I send the answers in to the cache owner. The owner might reply immediately, or they may be on a caching trip and reply some days later, or they may have retired from the game and never reply. Once I get the reply I convert the Write Note to a Found It, and add any favourite point.

So sometimes, I have trouble finding the earth cache I write noted on in order to sit down and do the answers, or to realise that the owner is not responding and log the find anyway. Sometimes it is a few months before I realise there is an outstanding earth cache to finish.
Does this sound familiar?

Would a PGC page highlighting Write Notes on Earth caches be useful to find those old earth caches still in a half-completed state? Perhaps with an embedded code word so that PGC does not flag write notes logged for other reasons?

EC and surface mines - incorrect level for head in the ground?

Hi.

I found some time ago a large number of earthcaches below sea level with award to the head in the ground award. One day (around march 2018) something was changed. All awards for EC's found in mines disapeared.

I found https://project-gc.com/Home/FAQ#4179902386 and it could be a key to understand.

But I found one thing strange. We tried to made a cache in a surface coal mine (-100 metres below a sea level) as a mystery cache. On first day after publication all was ok, but on next day it showed average level of a county - difference is about 300 metres in height. Is not a square 90x90 m.

Is it possible to make a cache for this award right now? BTW I know mystery caches located on the sea map with finals on the land with atributes "below sea level". Is not fair I think.

Logging of earthcaches

Just wondering which date people use when they are logging earthcaches. I tend to visit a site on one date, work out the answers at home some time later and then send the information to the CO, which is sometimes another date again. I use the date that I work out the answers as my 'found date' because that's when it feels I've completed the cache.

Now I know there's not going to be a rule as such, but I'd be interested to know which date other people use on these caches where there's nothing physical to sign and date.

Why is Earthcache not counting as "distinct cache type placed" in belt statistics?

In the "BadgeGen" -> "Belt Information" part of my profile statistics, it says that I should receive "2 points per distinct cache type hidden".

I am the owner of only one cache so far (an earthcache) but even though I have waited for the statistics to refresh for several weeks now, I have not received the 2 points for this cache placed. (All other stats have been updated).

Am I missing something - do earthcaches not count towards this?

	Thanks in advance
