Now if the "Inbox" link is cliked (https://project-gc.com/User/Messages) while the session is in unauthenticated state, the server throws an "Internal server error { ....... }"

The error is reproducable.

As a premium member of Geochaching.com, I sometimes use the Challenge Checkers that are included in the listings and have never had a problem until recently. After "authenticate" and "agree" I am led to an empty website (at firefox).
On other computers and my smartphone I have the same problem. Cookies and browser cache were deleted. In my setting the access of project-gc is allowed.
Now I've created a new account (this one) to represent my problem here and to get help. With the new account I have no problem on my computer.
Does anyone have an explanation and tips on how to use the Challenge Checker again as a PM?

I am getting an internal server error on every page with the exception of the QA forum.

The page loaded and asked me to authenticate my geocaching account. I clicked to do that, which took me to the geocaching site. I then clicked agree to authorize it. After that, I get a server error on the project-gc main page and any other project-gc page I try to navigate to through a google search.

Error when "refresh corrected coordinates"

Yesterday I tried to build a couple of gpx's. Everytime I got a message saying: "Unknown error." and the job wouldn't go through.

After trying again today, I found out that the error only occurs when the box "refresh corrected coordinates" is checked. All other combinations of checkmarks works fine, and the gpx rushes through.

I've consulted the fb-group but they've never heard about this problem before, and they referred me to "support" on the website ... so here I am

Error when I tagged a script

Hi. I went to tag a script and make a variation that is not tagged (I checked them all by doing a key word search). 25 results but nothing exact of what I want

I copied the config from an existing similar tag, and just changed the words to what I want. After I hit save, it says "error saving".

On map compare some caches are missed out

When I only filter after my username and tick one found the map shows only 427 caches instead of 493 caches. (Possibly archived ones missing, but then there should be 453 according to my profile stats)

TB rescue - can't create mission due to recently drop off (cache archived)

Hi.

My tracable was dropped off to a cache about week ago. Yesterday owner of this cache archived it. He is the owner of over 1200 caches. The cache was not muggled. It was active over 4 years and now local regulations has changed and it is no more allowed to cache exist there (local city park). As I think, the cache owner has no time to service all caches he own, so I don't belive, that he will take out my TB from cache (he doesn't told me that he will).

So... I want to create a rescue mission - but I can't.

"A rescue mission can not be created for this trackable due to the following reasons:

This trackable has been dropped off too recently."

I think, that it should be possible to create a rescue mission when a cache was archived, even recently drop off.

I belive, that the container is still on its place in good shape, but noone knows how long... Thats why rescue mission shoud be allowed.

Opened up a TB rescue mission on map... did a little cache log search and noticed that two users posted "no TB" type logs. I decided to add a mission log entry note to that fact... Not sure what happened but 7 copies displayed now! This is on TB4198F in New Zealand at GC5TMCE

Hi, I try to define a rescue zone, as the standard 50km circle is much more than I can cover. When trying to upload that zone I just get an "unknown server error".

GPX error when import to Phone with C:Geo

i get error when i try to open GPX files made from virtual gps.

Waypoints can i open .

i can export GPX to GPS but not to Phone anymore i did it a week ago with C:Geo

anyone else have problem ?

I have tried all browsers and different computers and always get the same result. I have been trying for over two weeks. If I run it on my Iphone it will work? But I can't copy the output from the phone.

Hi - I submitted a tag for a challenge cache I ran across, which didn't actually contain the word "Challenge" in its title.

I'm not questioning your rule/decision on this - but the message that I received was in error. The link/info to indicate exactly which tag or cache was found to be in question did not get substituted for its placeholder variable.

Here is the message I received, verbatim:

The following tags has been disabled because they seem to reference geocaches that does not look like challenge caches. According to official guidelines a challenge cache must contain the word challenge and be listed as a Mystery/Puzzle geocache type.

Challenge geocaches must contain the word "challenge" in the geocache name.

Challenge geocaches are listed as the Mystery/Puzzle geocache type.

I'm guessing $tagId should have been substituted with a reference to the tag I created.

If I execute the checker for GC514F4, ( http://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC514F4 )
the checker fails to execute with the following error:

Failed to execute script
Error message [string "function spairs(t, order)..."]:530: attempt to compare string with number

Has anyone the same problem and how can it be fixed ?

LUA ERROR - MathAbs returns boolean

So i made up 3 geocheckers, and a few people are getting this error; Not the majority.. whom it seems to work for, myself included.

They are getting this error:

[string "local args={...}..."]:231: bad argument #1 to 'MathAbs' (number expected, got boolean)

Not sure how it would return a boolean value rather then a number, unless there is a cache out there that has a weird set of coordinates.

Here is the Checker, Anyone have any insight?
