Hey guys,

what do you think is better for geocaching and why? I found nearly 4000 Geocaches and search the majority of them with my smartphone (Samsung Galaxy S4) and I can't imagine why people go geocaching with a GPS-device. On a smartphone you have a better display, so you can see the map better and of course you got a lot more tools on a single device (Camera, GCC, etc.) Even the accuracy is sometimes better than with a GPS device, the only thing which comes to my mind would be the battery pack capacity but when using a powerbank, that is enough for two or three days.

So GPS-users, just tell me what you like about these devices, I know, its a never ending discussion, but I would really like to know, why some people are so crazy about their GPS...

Can I map only search results from Virtual GPS?

I have a Virtual GPS list created for a trip we are planning. From that list, I have sorted for specific caches based on select criteria. The list looks great with the sorted results but when I select "Map List" it displays the entire VGPS list instead of only the sorted results. I need to see only the sorted results to plan some routes. Is this possible somehow?

I created a GPS list, added some caches and exported them to GPX/CSV. GPX contains officially defined attributes of course. CSV contains the attributes

I want to have caches in that order I add them to a virtual gps list. Actually the table is automatically sorted by GC Code.

When in the Virtual GPS page, there are several options like Export GPX or CVS. But I tought it would be nice to be able to print the desired results (with the corrected coordinates). My non-geeky husband loves paper... but I think he's not alone ^^

Ability to select another Virtual GPS or create new from a filtered list or really anywhere else appropriate.

I submitted this as a help ticket, but think it may be more appropriate here. It would be great, when you have a filtered list of caches (or really anywhere you'd get a list of caches to add to a Virtual GPS) that you have the option to select a different Virtual GPS (especially if one's not selected) or the ability to add a new one on the fly.

export the caches from the virtual gps in a csv file it changes the latitude & longitude numbers to a different format

Exporting to csv changes the Lat & Long to a different format ( from N33 52.305 to 33.87175 ) is there a way to prevent this from happening?

Starting with my registration..

Now that virtual gps2 is alive, i walked all the features in project GPS, but don't find a way to have a list of all my caches placed that i could add in another list for maintenance

How is it possible to have a simple list with some simple or trickey criteria to be put in virtual GPS or to be listed for selection to virtual gps?

(I worked in fileter, but doesn't seems to be usable anywhereelse)
