Still have problem to enter ampersand sign in a pseudo

This problem was reported few months ago and as there is a workaround, may be not considered at this time.

As i'm quite tired to apply the workaround I submit it again to see how many people are affected.

Problem arise when a pseudo is defined with an ampersand. Generally two names. Exemple 'Christelle & Fiona', or 'Doriane & Romain'.

Problem is : it is impossible to enter the '&' sign in a normal way in the middle of the name, no character appears when the key is typed.

This behaviour was visible on Win10, Chrome (a lot of versions since months, years) in any language selected and also with virtual keyboard.

Workaround is to type the whole pseudo without the '&' sign 'ChristelleFiona' and after that come back with arrow to insert the ' & '. : tedious

May be a small thing to change at input routine, or could help with this workaround if not solved

Typing in autocomplete fields drops chars

Affects: Firefox

Unaffected: Chromium

In autocompleting input fields, characters are sometimes dropped. For example typing the founders alias might leave the field as gaja147.

Also, when clearing the field with the backspace key one is often taken to the previous page as if hitting the back button.

Most likely the input field loses focus for a brief moment on every autocomplete update, and the pressed key is sent to the browser itself rather than the input field.

Additional user input fields for checkers?

There is significant number of challenges, which are (yet) not possible to write a checker for - because there is needed some additional input from user apart from his nickname.

Typical example is challenge depending on user's home coordinates - it is sensitive info, not possible to call by API (and they are not always set in user's profile, of course).

But I can imagine solution: additional input field for checker - any coordinates - entered by user. This info would not be recorded anywhere, just used for single calculation of that specific checker.

What do you think?
