Need help advising a cloned tag for finding souvenirs

I want to make a challenge cache that requires finding 150 souvenirs first.

I found in cloned this one, but it’s for 250. I don’t wrote code and I don’t know how to modify it so that it meets my needs. Can anyone help?

Talking about categorization on project-gc profile page. Why is "Blue Switch Day 2025 Finder" in Uncategorized Souvenirs, while "Blue Switch Day 2024" is in Specific-day Souvenirs? The same goes for "GeoGuessr Challenge" (2024) being in Other Souvenirs, while this year's "GeoGuessr 2025" is in Uncategorized Souvenirs. Will they be categorized over time, or is this the final state?

why did you sort the new souvenir for the June Solstice 2023 under "Other" and not under "Specific-day"?

Methinks the latter would be the better category for the souvenir.

Solved: If I would have read the whole requirements first, I would not have asked this. It's fine in this category.

Souvenir CITO season 2

When checking my souvenirs, I noticed that the souvenir for Cito season 2 of this year is placed in the 'Other'-categorie, whereas all the other Cito-souvenirs are placed in 'Event-related'. Can this be changed so that they are all in the same categorie?

Bug: Souvenir links go nowhere

Clicking on any souvenir in the Profile Stats > Souvenirs tab opens a link in the form https://project-gc.com/Statistics/ProfileStats#souvenirId_2063, which does not resolve to anything and so opens the default Profile Stats page.

Should they link to the Geocaching.com souvenir?

I don't know why Project-GC counts one souvenir double:

The Souvenir "Geocaching Gets Outdoors Day 2013-07-13" https://s3.amazonaws.com/gs-geo-images/1b864738-c1dd-4c44-b06a-cfc2b6565260.png

is listed in the category "Specific day souvenir" https://project-gc.com/Statistics/ProfileStats#souvenirId_319AND is listed in the category "Test souvenir" with a different souvenirID https://project-gc.com/Statistics/ProfileStats#souvenirId_316

So there are 152 souvenirs shown in Project-GC, but (as it would be correct) 151 in my Geocachig App from Groundspeak.

Is it a bug?

Blue Switch Day Souvenir not being categorized properly

Yesterday, I earned the most recent Blue Switch Day 2020 souvenir and noticed it is listed in the uncategorized category in my profile stats. Shouldn't this be listed under Specific-day souvenirs category like the one I earned on 2017-05-02?

I noticed a while ago that my Geocaching app (Version 8.18.2 for Android 10 Samsung S9) stopped showing souvenirs.

This is low priority. However, would it be possible to change the souvenir earned dates to the actual log dates rather than the dates the geocacher wrote the e-log?

Souvenirs by year acquired

I was wondering if under the souvenirs tab in profile stats, the souvenirs could be separated into groups consisting of year acquired. That would make it easier to see how many souvenirs a geocacher has acquired each year.

What is to do to remove souvenirs that were erraneously received?

I received 2 souvenirs erraneously by logging caches with the "wrong" GC-number. I was aware of this immediately after sending the logs by receiving "wrong" country souvenirs. Afterwards it was easy to delete the "wrong" logs and send the right ones. This corrected my numbers, my history and statistics. But it did not remove the wrong souvenirs (1 x Ontario (Canada) and 1 x Massachusetts).

Does anybody know who could correct this (small) error?

(This is posted in miscellaneous, as I don't know where else to put it).

I have been benchmarking a bit, since the Profile Stats page is unbelieavbly slow on my machine. I took a much faster machine to not have the bottleneck being the CPU of my somewhat aging laptop. I thought that maxcdn was the culprit, as the message I usually get is "Waiting for maxcdn.project-gc.com", but that turned out not to be the case once benchmarked on a more beefy machine. Both response time and throughput is fine with the maxcdn. I did, however, stumble upon another quite odd thing that brings about the following question:

How come that the Profile Stats are loading the full version pictures of the souvenirs earned ?

The full size of my profile stats page is a little over 20MB when loaded without anything cached in advance, the vast bulk of which is served from souvenirs.geocaching.com (17,8MB). The vast bulk of that are the full-size (300x400 px or so) images that belong to the individual souvenirs. They appear inside elements hidden by CSS. Clicking the individual souvenirs on the profile page appears to do nothing.

I realise that

The images are cachable, so that reloading the page will result in a 304 on all images, thus reducing the total size of the page that needs to be loaded from souvenirs.geocaching.com to a mere 84KB
The images are served from souvenirs.geocaching.com so that does not put extra load on project-gc.com or maxcdn.project-gc.com

That does not, however, explain the need to load them in the first place - or why souvenirs.geocaching.com should be made to serve the client (which should load and cache) some 10+MB of data that does not appear to be used for anything. Is there a reason that these elements are loaded, or have they been forgotten ?

To be clear: We are not talking about the thumbnail versions of the souvenirs that are displayed in the Souvenirs tab.

This new collection of souvenirs has just been released by Groundspeak, which require you to solve a puzzle and complete a find with the correct cache criteria to claim the souvenir.

What do you think of them?

Geocaching Headquarters twince in the SouvenirList?

Souvenir list contains two times Geocaching Headquarters souvenir with same id, url and links. Isn't it weird?

But great job with that page. These are interesting stats that are not available on geocaching.com. I thought I have enough souvenirs, before I saw that long list. :)

Group souvenirs in statistics

Hi,
with increasing number of non-country souvenirs, country souvenirs are in minority and losing between others.

In statistics, I suggest to sort them to groups.

For example:

Countries and states
Events
Special dates
...

Or just:

Countries and states
Other souvenirs

According to the pinkunicorn's announcement, data for categories are available.

Auf Geocaching.com kann man in der Statistik bei den Souvenirs einzelne Souvenirs ausblenden.

Auf Projekt GC kann man nur alle Souvenirs ausblenden.

Es wäre schön wenn man da auch nur einzelne Souvenirs ausblenden kann.

On Geocaching.com you can hide in the statistics individual souvenirs .

At the project GC can only hide all souvenirs.

It would be nice if there can also hide only some souvenirs.
