Checker not working - reorganisation in Switzerland?

Recently caches in Switzerland were re-organised by GC. As you know there are 26 cantons ('states') in Switzerland, some of which used to be combined to a total of 10 regions whereas now caches are fully broken down to cantons. Some names seem to have been allocated twice in the process (German and French). I noted two effects:

- I have re-defined my PQs to contain the same cantons the earlier regions had but still do get a lower number of caches;

- Some checkers do not work correctly at the moment. One of them is GC369P0 - Challenge: Alle Kantone der Schweiz (all cantons of Switzerland) which I clearly fulfil but currently the checker does not tell me so. The map display on PGC is correct.

Anyone experiencing the same? Am I right in thinking this reorganisation is being looked at?

error in Switzerland map section

Hi,

it seems, that something goes wrong with the statistic of Switzerland map sections. In my case I should have found cache in 28 of 26 cantons? That is definitly wrong, because there are still 3 cantons open. When check the canton names, there are some names in two different versions. For example you will find "Bern" and additional "Bern - Berne". Another example is "Valais" and "Valais - Wallis".

Hopefully it will be correctable 8-). Thanks a lot

Reinach (AG) municipality missing on project-gc.com (Switzerland)

Hello,

I was notified by challenge checker user about bug in list of Swiss counties (municipalities). I found out, that list of counties is not complete for Switzerland - municipality Reinach (AG) is missing.

Please, note, that there are two Reinach counties in Switzerland, one is in canton (region) Basel-Landschaft (this on is listed on project-gc.com) and second one is Reinach in canton (region) Aargau - this one is missing.

Both are distinguished by abbreviation of canton name in brackets after Reinach name:

Reinach (AG)

Reinach (BL)

Reinach (AG) needs to be added to list of counties under Aargau region, Switzerland.

counties in Switzerland

In January 2016 there were some changes of the boundaries of county in Switzerland. Actually there are "only" 2409 counties in Switzerland. In comparision with the map of Switzerland on the statistic page, where you will find 2412 counties, it seems there is a small bug. Would it be possible to recheck or reimport the boundaries of Switzerland to adapt the new county situation in Switzerland.
