How to close a TB rescue mission as owner

I placed a TB rescue mission. It is a month old and nobody found the TB. I would like to close that mission now to clear the map. I tried:

- logging a comment

- logging a DNF

But the mission is still there.

How do I close that mission? Help appreciated. Thanks

TB discovern and after 500 it stops?

I was able to have a look at a huge TB collection at an event recently and added over 600 TB codes to discover them - after 500 successful discoveries the tool stopped and hasn't continued for hours now. What could be the problem?

Could it be possible to include TB drop per geocache and TB visit per geocache in your current array of statistic tools?

I guess the statistics would be a good tool for those of us who have an interest in TB’s.

Hello!

I´m using c:geo when I log my caches and trackables. Now I have discovered that if I drop a trackable with c:geo it will not be counted if I look at the BadgeGen. I think that something is wrong .... If I check my statistics at geocaching.com it will be counted.

Hi, I currently have 2 TB's that I've found in caches. For some reason I can't log them (blocked by owner?). I can't even find them in the Groundspeak database. Since I'm only started caching this year, I expect this number to grow. So I was wondering what to do with those?

Maybe it's possible to make a reversed TB rescue or something?

Sync between trackable discoveries using project-gc and geocaching.com stats

I used the project-gc trackable discoveries for the first time today. To test, I input 10 codes. They went through the queue fine and were discovered. When I input each code manually on gc.com, all 10 bugs show as discovered. So all of that is great! However, when I look at my total of discovered trackables on gc.com, my total has not gone up by 10 at all. They were not duplicate discoveries, all of them were new ones. Am I missing something? Thanks!

TB discoveries - logs are encrypted

I used the TB discovery tool for around forty TBs. When I went to check the discoveries on the website, I noticed that all log entries are encrypted. I couldn't find any option to affect this. Is this a bug or how can I discover TBs with normal logs, not encrypted?

Missing Statistic, kilometer TBs moved

While logging some TBs today, I wondered if there is also a statistic about how many Kilometers or Miles a Cacher MOVED TBs and Coins. I think this is pushing more that people take TBs with them on travel vs simply discovering them.

The counting should be limited to maximum 50 (but could also be 10...) visits per person travelling with. This is to exclude mileage tags which visit each cache of an owner or prolonged visits to get distances. Additionally only Caches count that the current travelling owner has also found on the same day.

I think that this challenge checker could be easy to do for someone who knows how to write such a program.

This challenge is cool, but really long to proof trackable by trackable. (I've done it it's really long!!!)

TB Discover tool: empty log messages when using special Unicode characters

I’ve just attempted to discover a couple of TBs with the tool, and this time, it worked successfully but with an empty log message on each. Editing it on the GS website made it work. No idea if this is a generic bug or one dependent on the log message, and within PGC or the GS API.

The log message I used was:

… heh, turns out it disappears from here. Also, it appears to have been converted into UTF-16 surrogates on the GS website in the TB log (example: http://coord.info/TB24KYN), but the individual log (http://coord.info/TLG5NDTM) and the same U-0001F3B2 character on the cache log page are fine.

The “Toggle log text” button in the TB Discover tool history also shows nothing, so this appears to be a bug in PGC with (my educated guess) Unicode codepoints from the astral planes.

Is there a way to list caches near you with TB's, and how many in each?

I would like to be able to make a list of caches with my home as center, but filtered only on caches containing one or more TB's. I would also like this list to show how many TB's that are present in each cache. Is this a possibility with a paid membership? If not, will this feature be included in the future?

Is it possible, that we can generate a list of all our found travelbugs including the little pics? Like http://www.geocaching.com/profile/?guid=cc12861e-a886-4a9c-aa86-d889e23dbdb2 in the section "Bewegte oder entdeckte TBs und Coins".

Possible in future to add photo to the log when using PGC-tool "Discover Trackable's" ..?

I do really like to use the tool "Discover Trackable's" to log TB/GC after events or after seeing larger collections.

But I would like to have the option to add a picture to the log also. I personally love to recieve logs containing photos on my TB, coins and also my own geocaches. "A picture tells more than a thousand words"...:)
This will also help you to reach your goal for the "The Shutterbug badge" if you are hunting badges.

So my question to the PGC Guru's are, Is this something that I can wish for in the future?

Add: Map for traveled distance for TB/GC/trackable

A very nice feature that I wish for christmas is to have a map where I can see the activity for a selectet TB/GC.

At the moment there is such a map at geocaching.com, but for some reason it is really widescreen and tiny, so it's difficult to get an overview.

In addition the lines between each point is quite thick, and the number for the cache is quite big, so when the TB has traveled a lot it all gets messy.

Would such a map be possible?

An alternative to this feature could be to have a "traveled distance" map, to see the travel activity for a geocacher rather than a TB.
