How to close a TB rescue mission as owner

I placed a TB rescue mission. It is a month old and nobody found the TB. I would like to close that mission now to clear the map. I tried:

- logging a comment

- logging a DNF

But the mission is still there.

How do I close that mission? Help appreciated. Thanks

Is there a way to ignore a TB mission since the owner won't clear it off the map?

The closest TB rescue trackable to us is a coin we looked for, but it was missing. It's been gone 1.7 years. We let the owner know the TB was missing a while back (the cache had been stolen & this was a replacement). It's ALWAYS showing up on the map. Would love to toggle that off somehow.

TB rescue says my TB was not dropped long enough ago. Isn't 7.5 weeks brought?

Hello,

the TB Rescue Map is no longer displayed. At the place where the card is originally to be seen, I only have a grey box left.

The problem has been there for about a week now and I can't detect any changes by changing my browser.

I used the following options:

Windows 10 64bit

Firefox 65.0.1

MS Edge v. Unknown

Chrome 71.0.3578

I.OS Safari

Can anyone help?

I cannot seem to find this feature on the map. The top left icon is to enlarge page to full screen (box with 4 corner). There isn't binoculars on map.

Im hoping this is a simple one and just a PEBKAC on my behalf. I want to sign up to TB rescue, on the page is says click the sidebar on the left to add a zone to watch. I either don't have, or am blind and cant see said sidebar. Using Chrome on Mac (safari is the same FWIW). I have hovered over/tried the icon list down the LHS of the map, none give me a sidebar......

???

Where can I create/delete watch areas for tb-rescue?

Maybe I'm some kind of blind, but I can't find the option to delete my active watch zones or to create new ones... where can I find it?

I can't find it under Tools-->Tb-Rescue and not on my profile settings...

TB rescue - can't create mission due to recently drop off (cache archived)

Hi.

My tracable was dropped off to a cache about week ago. Yesterday owner of this cache archived it. He is the owner of over 1200 caches. The cache was not muggled. It was active over 4 years and now local regulations has changed and it is no more allowed to cache exist there (local city park). As I think, the cache owner has no time to service all caches he own, so I don't belive, that he will take out my TB from cache (he doesn't told me that he will).

So... I want to create a rescue mission - but I can't.

"A rescue mission can not be created for this trackable due to the following reasons:

This trackable has been dropped off too recently."

I think, that it should be possible to create a rescue mission when a cache was archived, even recently drop off.

I belive, that the container is still on its place in good shape, but noone knows how long... Thats why rescue mission shoud be allowed.

TB-Rescue: how can i make my standard rescue area smaller? It is 50 km now but that is to much, i prefer 20-30 km

I have 2 area´s I can watch for TB rescue missions, from my home location and from my work location (they are 80+ km apart). For my work (as extra area to do rescue missions) I could put it on 20 km, but my home location is standard on 50km and that is to much for me. How do I also make my home area for rescue actions at 20/30 km?

TBrescue - I can't create a log

I open the map with missions. I open a random mission. I click button - create a log. The new space for wrighting appears. I close the mission.

Then I open another different mission. I click button - create a log. Nothing happens.

Another different mission - also nothing happens.

When I go back to mission I opened first - all is ok.

Then when I refresh the page and open random mission is ok to create a log but again only in first opened mission. Next missions also shows nothing.

And again, no markers on rescue Map.

Strange behavior of the Rescue map..:

Sometimes it displays the markers, sometimes not.

Right now, it is not.

Is there a database update at this time of day? So that the markers "disappear" while parsing the DB and then later re-appear?

Or is there still a bug hidden inside?

Again, there is a bug on the TB-Rescue map.

I can't see any markers anymore. Earlier today (before noon) it worked..

Only the rescue Zones are visible.

The page says: "Become a volunteer rescuer today by opening the sidebar on the left side of the map and add a zone to watch."

I can't figure out how to open the sidebar. There is no obvious button to click. I'm On Firefox on Windows 10. Please help.

Adding new TB rescue zone not possible on iPad

When using my iPad and trying to add a new zone to tbrescue I get the fly out form. However when I try to click the field to type in the name or any of the other fields then the underlying map updates/moves/interacts.

The result is I cannot modify the zones on my iPad. It works on desktop PC running Firefox. On iPad I'm using Safari. iOS 9.2.1 iPad Air.

J'ai écrit un log "note" sur TB Rescue. Et en le validant, en cliquant une seule fois sur le bouton, ce sont 3 logs qui ont été enregistrés et qui sont affichés.

I wrote a log "note" on TB Rescue. And validating it by clicking once on the button, it is 3 logs that have been saved and are displayed.

TB rescue bug report - input checking

The unknown server error message still appears, when setting a new zone and accidentally leaving a field (eg name) blank. Needs a more useful error message.

I know the code is still in beta, just letting you know in case you didn't know!

TB-rescue marker consideration & other features

On the former TB-rescue site the map had two different icons. a red cross the other an "emergency vehicle" light beacon. The latter denoted that a rescuer had acknowledged committing (accepted the rescue mission) to go to the GZ. Something similar would be beneficial for those that scan areas beyond their default watch zones.

Another feature I recall was the awarding of points for completed missions to rescuers. Thus a standing list was also provided. Of which a standing list has been developed under the statistics tab on this site.

Back to the first paragraph topic... I also recall that once the "Blue light" icon was activated if the rescuer did not act/respond within a certain period of time the "mission assignment" to that rescuer would be cancelled. Just can not recall how long though. I would suggest a week to 10-days would be sufficient personally.

TB-rescue - re-defining area or radius

Hello

I want to set an area for me to help rescue TB's. I commute between home and work, and I want that area to be my rescue area. I have found a coordinate somewhere in the middle, but the radius was to small - alternatively the coordinate a little off. Now I want to re-define my area, but that does not seem possible?

Will it be possible later (after beta) to re-difine areas, or will I have to try my way with coordinates and radii until I find the right combination?

Opened up a TB rescue mission on map... did a little cache log search and noticed that two users posted "no TB" type logs. I decided to add a mission log entry note to that fact... Not sure what happened but 7 copies displayed now! This is on TB4198F in New Zealand at GC5TMCE

It seems that I can't add a new watch area. I enter a name, coordinates and the distance, but when I click the add button I get an error screen and nothing happens.
