Is it still possible to exclude the caches I've not found in the new filter system ?

Hello,

While I was testing the new filter system in the Staging environment, I realized that it was no longer possible to filter “not found” caches.
For example, on the Statistics > Top Elevation page, I liked being able to have a complete list of the highest caches I've found with the “Hide Found / Owned / Not Found” filter. The most similar filter now is “Exclude my finds/hides”, but it looks like it's not possible to exclude the caches I've not found anymore.
Does the "Hide Not Found" filter exist elsewhere? Has it become "premium only"? Or has it been removed?

Profile/need maintenance? Is it possible to add a parameter to select the number of DNF before triggering

Would be great to add to the page Profile/need maintenance a parameter to select the minimum number of DNF to enter the list. For the moment ass soon there is one (1) 'need maintenance' it enter the list, i agree, but ass soon there is one (1) 'dnf' it is also included in the list. Would be great to have a parameter to select how many DNF before being counted for list. In my search for cache thet need maintenance i generally do not react before there is 3 consecutive dnf on the cache. Would be great also to have the same filter capabilities than in any other filter to select the type of cache as the tradi may require 3 dnf before being inspected, but for a multi, for the satisfaction of searcher, it could be reduced to 1 dnf before having a look.

As hider, what is your opinion. As developper, would it be so difficult to add this parameter? Have a great day all!

County Map with D/T Filter show not the correct subset

Feature Request - Virtual GPS, filters and checkboxes

I frequently will add thousands of caches that meet a criteria to virtual GPS. One of the very first things I do ionce I have added caches s to then run filters for things I dont want, like disabled caches or 5 terrain or looking at the latest logs and deleting anything with 2 or more consecutive DNFs etc. It would be great if I could check or uncheck an entire sub-filter with one click. Currently I might have to click 50-75 times just to remove undesirable caches...

Does this functionality exist and I just dont know how to do it?

Filter found caches

I'm searching for a way to add a filter so that I don't see caches I've already found in, for instance, Hidden Month and DT Matrix tools (obviously, with loop > 1). I did realize I could do this by saving the list to a Virtual GPS list, and then filtering that, but that seems a bit cumbersome.

More exact elevation bound input @ Live Map

The Live Map currently uses sliders to set the lower and upper bounds for Elevation. This is not very practical when trying to set the elevation to a certain exact interval. In my case, I'm looking for caches with an elevation between 750 and 800 m. I did manage to set the bounds accordingly by zooming deep into the webpage, so that the 'bound resolution' increases, but this is hardly practical.

A better way IMO would be to have companion numerical input boxes for the lower and upper bounds.

Cache location filter custom list

I frequently use the Map Compare tool to find out which caches are a good option for trips with certain geocachers. The filter will remember which geocachers I wish to compare finds with, and the country and region is also remembered. I, however, always have to select the conties manually every time.

I often search for caches in my own county (municipality) and the neighbouring ones. That's 4 selections every time I use the tool. On top of that, the list of counties is empty initially, so the procedure is as such:

Click on Map Compare
Click on another region than the one you want (the correct region is selected, but the list of counties is empty)
Click on the correct region (only then will the correct list of counties appear)
Click on the first county and hold down CTRL
Repeat (4) until all counties are selected
Click "Filter"

This is of course doable but tedious. My suggestion is to implement some of the following

Make a favorites list that can be selected as an option in the "Cache location" filter. It will then be like a speed dial to frequently used configurations of the cache location filter.
Make the "Cache location" filter remember the last selection on county(s) as well as country and region. That will at least make subsequent queries on the same areas easier.
Make the Custom Filter able to specify cache location as well.

Any of the above will help.

Elevation filter for map compare

Since the data exists on other pages, would it be possible to have a filter for high/low elevation for map compare?

I.e. Elevation: [2000]m to [5000]m. Meters in free text.

Map Compare now defaults to old filter set... What changed?

A little over a week ago I ran a Map Compare and added a series of filters to include a route. Now, for some reason, every time I open Map Compare regardless of what new compares I have since completed, the page loads with all the old filters and settings for that one I did over a week ago, as if that specific compare has become my default somehow.

In the past, it always seemed that Map Compare would "remember" the setting used in you last compare so if you jumped out to setup a virtual gps or check some other page, then return to the map compare screen, you would not have to rebuild the compare from scratch because your last configuration was still there.

Anybody know what changed or how to "clear" this old set of filters?

I like to go geocaching with a few of my friends. However, sometimes, they can't make it, and I'll go geocaching by myself. In order to not interfere with future trips with my friends, I in these cases like to find caches that one or more of them have already found but I have not found - that way, we can still go find the caches, none of us have found, together at a later date.

However, I can't seem to find a way to display these caches on project-gc.com - even using custom filters. The only way I have found so far is to make a bookmark list of all the caches, my friends have found, and use this as an ignore bookmark list in "Map Compare". But this list will quickly become out of date.

Is there a smarter way to display caches that are unfound by me but found by one or two of specifically listed profiles?

Suggestions:

Dates Between XXX and XXX

Date Equal to XXX

Or, if there's a way to do this with a custom filter, I'm all ears.

A geocache not reported by the tool "Not Found Caches"

I don't see one of my not yet founded cache (http://coord.info/GC61XAM) on the search "Not Found Caches"

Looking at global level Belgium, nor at closer look Belgium/Liege

This cache is published and not found since more than 2 weeks,

Note that This cache is premium. Does it enter into the search criteria?

Another one is well visible tough (http://coord.info/GC5MDFX). This one is published few months ago :-)

Top Hidden: Please add Custom Filters

Hi!

I would like to find out, which owners have high quality (high FP) caches in a specified area.

The list of owners in an area can be found on the Top Hidden stats. The only thing I am missing is the custom filters so I can narrow down the search to caches with >x% FP.

Please add custom filters.
