Tampermonkey Script: Add to VGPS from GC-Map

I am pretty sure that it once worked, so perhaps it's just an option to change.

It seems like adding a cache to the VGPS from the popup that appears when clicking on a cache, is no more possible. Am I the only one, or was this feature cancelled?

Greasemonkey script: Add toggle to hide log upvoting buttons

The log upvoting feature has now gone global.

For the benefit of the users who do not want to have these buttons taking up space, can you add a toggle for the greasemonkey add-in to provide the ability to hide these.

The upvote section for each log is wrapped up as:

How come alerts for not fullfilled challenge when pgc checker says its ok?

I had a chat with a friend of mine about an alert I saw on a challengecache today about him not fullfilling the challenge. https://coord.info/GC7MCV1 (I think the alert comes from greasemonkey,, that I use, so I'm not sure if everyone can see it)

The nick concerned is Ronta and tonight he got 206 as a result from the checker and at the time he found the challengecache he had the result of 189.There is only 187 required. It's kind of embarrasing on such a technically simple challenge. There should be no reason why the checker should show a different result than the alert for him.

Is something wrong or is it just how it could be sometimes?

Which website extension is recommended for Firefox - Greasemonkey or Tampermonkey?

But in the community support some answers to https://project-gc.com/qa/?qa=15852/what-the-status-the-browser-extension-for-firefox-and-beyond say, both extensions work fine.

What is correct?

I use Firefox and I have installed Tampermonkey.

Greasemonkey - just the button that shows paid membership works. Everything else have disappeared.

My beloved drop-down-list for placing caches from Geocaching.com to my different VGPS-lists have been gone for three days now. Also adresses and regions, the live map and so on. Once - my drop-down-list showed up, but... in less than a minute it was gone again.

I've already tried to uninstall and install the script again, but it didn't help.

Is there anybody out here who knows something that might help?

I'm using Firefox Quantum 59.0.2 (64-bitars)

Tampermonkey - Not logged in

On one of the computers I use Tampermonkey and the web browser extension is installed, but on geocaching.com I am always "not logged in" no matter how many times I do it. I noticed the information about logging out and I have, from both gc.com and project-gc.com, but I am still "not logged in".

Using Firefox 57.0.2

It works fine on my laptop at home.

How will PGC scripts work with the new Greasemonkey 4?

I got a newsmail from Greasespot about the new Greasemonkey 4. They mentioned there could be compability problems with old scripts, until they are updated. So my simple question is, will this affect the greasemonkey scripts for PGC?

Geocaching.com changed their nav yesterday on some pages. This change seems to cause an odd display when using the PGC script on newer geocaching.com pages such as https://www.geocaching.com/account/dashboard

greasemonkey - show caches of a bookmarklist in a map

At geocaching.com I opened one of my bookmark-lists. After installing the Greasemonkey add on, there appeared a new button: "Map This!". After clicking that "Map This!" - button i was sent to the project-gc site, a formular opened where my username and my ownername was already set, but only one of my bookmarlists was to be seen. Then i clicked the "get lists" button on the right side, but nothing happend ... i expected to get now all my gc.com lists here to choose one and get a map with the caches which are in the selected list... can anybody help me, where is my mistake ?

I have Firefox 50.0.2 with Greasemonkey Project-GC 1.6.3 but it won't "load" for me.

It used to load automatically before but I wonder if this newer Fierfox has made it inoperable.

Greasemonkey used to appear in the highlighted area. Now nothing even though it is the add-in is still enabled.

Related to http://project-gc.com/qa/?qa=12405/map-bookmarklist-settings as well as https://github.com/magma1447/greasemonkey-geocaching-projectgc/issues/32 which is a recent enhancement added to the script. When you view a bookmark list on geocaching.com, you now have a link to view the bookmarklist on PGC.

Should a new enhancement be suggested to the script so that it only shows the PGC map link if the bookmarklist is shared and/or public, whichever the appropriate option needs to be? If it's not shared, it can't be displayed on PGC, as far as I know. Maybe this is only relevant to our own caches since a cacher probably can't view a bookmark list page for another cacher if it's not shared.

An alternative enhancement would be that PGC doesn't require sharing when viewing a cachers own bookmark lists.

Or am I misunderstanding some setting, option, behavior of the new feature?

The greasemonkey script cannot remove disclaimer

The greasemonkey script (V. 1.4.11) does not remove the disclaimer. Tried to stop the script and start it again, but still the disclaimer is there. (Yes i reloaded the pages :-) )

All other settings work fine only this one does not apply on the site.

Using Chrome 54.0.2840.87 m on Win 8.1 PC.

Is it possible to improve firefox plugin to show if any in my friendlist has logged a geocache in the geocache view? And give possibility to view friends logs easy without searching for them?

The Greasemonkey script stopped working

Sorry I am French, and poorly written English.

The Greasemonkey script (https://greasyfork.org/fr/scripts/9713-geocaching-com-project-gc) stopped working for several days. It is activated, appears well in the header, but all that is in the descriptive part of the cache no longer appears (the last log summary, virtual GPS, etc).

Probably because of the change in the structure of pages GeoCaching.com made a few days ago (and causing a malfunction c: geo well).

Greasemonkey script's "reverse geocoded address" feature stopped working

I've been using the Project-GC Greasemonkey script for many months. Probably a few weeks ago, the reverse geocoded address feature stopped working. (No, I did not turn it off or in any way that I can detect disable it.) I have not made any modifications to the script, to my browser, or to my firewall. My system is dual-boot (Windows/Linux), and the same thing happens in Firefox under both OSes. I've even installed the script on Chrome under Tampermonkey and the feature doesn't work there either. I have a feeling Google might have changed the address or the format of the information provided by their API, but that's just a guess on my part.

1) Anyone else out there noticed the same problem?

2) Can someone at Project-GC look into it, please?

Missing some functions in the greasemonkey script

I'm missing some functions which should the greasemonkey script should perform.

For example, there is no VGPS support and the automatic hint decryption doesn't work (Yes, I checked it in the preferences), PGC map links are missing.

I'm using FF 41.0.2 Greasemonkey 3.5 under OSX 10.6.8

The greasemoneky script for firefox collide with "send to c:geo" - while both are active "send to c:geo" is not visible.

Could it be incorporated into gc-procjet script? It is very useful feature. And at the begnining it was not a problem and both scripts were working at the same time.

virtual gps 2 bug: gccode null

I added via the greasemonkey script to a vgps list a new cache that apparently is not yet known by project-gc.
It resulted in an entry that has a gccode "null" which I cannot delete!

After I have installed Greasemonkey on my Firefox, and also the last version of the script of the Tampermonkey site (and then browser-reboot and so on...), the script doesn't seems to work on Firefox?

However in Chrome work great!

Would be nice to show the cache elevation above / below ocean level (maybe right beside the main coords in the header.

Greasemonkey script: Don't collapse "Print and Downloads" section

On the c:geo support channels we recently got a few questions, that the send2cgeo function is no longer working.

Send2cgeo is a greasemonkey script allowing users to download caches to their smartphone directly from geocaching.com. (http://send2.cgeo.org).

Reason for the complaints of those users has been, that they recently installed the GPC GM script, which by default collapses the "Print and Downloads" section where the "Send 2 c:geo" button is located. So in fact all is working, but users are unable to find the button.

Could you please think about not collapsing this section (or make it user selectable but not collapsed by default) to ease up the usage of both scripts in parallel?

greasemonkey script bug - Project-GC map (incl found)

Thanks for the great new greasemonkey script.
It's very cool and integrates project-gc information nicely.

I found a problem with the links "Project-GC map (incl found)" at the top right below the gc code url.

It sends me to the project-gc map compare page with a location "undefined,undefined".
I would have expected the cache coordinates to be specified as the location.

Loving the new Greasemonkey project-gc script!

Wanted to request a feature that certainly would help me a bunch. Corrected coordinates no mater the cache type.

There used to be a GM script that did this but it stopped working a few years back. Would be super helpful to be able to change those coordinates on Letterbox/hybrids & play anywhere Wherigos.
