Needed Found Dates for Adventure Labs

I can find a year calendar and a list of missing dates for all the different types, sizes, difficulties, and terrains by using the Needed Found Dates tools except Adventure Labs

I can see the empty days for finding Adventure Labs on the calendar in my profile stats under the Lab Caches tab.

How can I get a list of those days like in the Needed Found Dates tool?

Can Adventure Labs be added to the cache type filter?

Could we possibly get an all-in-one found date tool that checks all cache types at once?

I recently completed a challenge where I needed a mystery find on 275 of 366 calendar dates. The needed found dates tool was invaluable for this. I'm trying to continue this theme and pick up cache types on days that I haven't found them. Right now this means I have a folder of bookmarked needed found date pages, one for each of the non-event types, that I have to open separately to see if I need a certain type for today. It would be awesome if I could just click on a date and see all the cache types I do or don't have for that date in one place. I apologize if this already exists and I just missed it.

Enhancement: Multiple calendar files - Part 2

PGC has an excellent facililty for working on dot days - the ability to export the dates out of the Needed Found Dates query and import them into our favourite calandering tool, so that we can be reminded to go get a cache. There has been recent improvement s to this allowing for musltiple calandering files, but I have just discovered that despite the multiple calander files, only one event is saved per day.

Examining the contents of the .ics files I see that all events have a UID of <date>@project-gc.com, and I suspect this is the reason a second calendar event on the same date is not saved. Could the UID please be changed to something like <date>.<field>@project-gc.com, where field is the user entry field beside the Download ICS calendar file button on the Needed Found Dates page.

For those who are not aware, the desire for multiple calendar files comes from wanting to fill the calendar (ie work on our dot-days) with a cache finds of various types, eg traditional or regular caches, at the same time. I, for instance, am working to fill my multis, unknowns and vituals, and get my smalls and micros up to two per date.

Tool for needed hidden dates

In the Tools menu, under others. there is a nice tool for Needed found dates. It gives a nice calendar and color codes dates you need based on filtering. Is there a way to get a similar tool for "Needed Hidden Dates". I know there is a Map based tool already there but it would be nice to have the calendar view also.

Enhancement request: Multiple calendar files

Needed Found Dates has a fantastic feature to assist us with calendar based projects. We can export our needed found dates to a .ics file and import them to our calendar so that we can avoid finding caches of a particular type until our phones tell us that today is the day to get one.

With the recent addon enhancements to BadgeGen I find I want to work on multiple calendar projects at once, to gain the "366" addons for a variety of badges. However calendar programs use the calendar subject line to provide the uniqueness when importing files, and regardless of what parameters are chosen in Needed Found Dates, the calendar file is always called "Missing found date". If I was to import a needed found dates for micro caches and follow that with the same for Traditional caches, and if both occurred on the same date then one will not import, or the earlier one will be overwritten. Obviously this risks a date being missed and thus a possible another year required to complete the calendar.

I recommend that the calendar subject line include a parameter reflecting the options chosen in the Needed Found Dates. This would allow multiple calendar files to be imported without conflict. There are two ways I think this could be implemented:

1. Add a code to the calendar subject line
For example "Needed found dates (AAA11BB222CCC45)"
Where A = cache types (A-Z), 1 = sizes (1-7), B = difficulties (A-I), 2 =Terrains (1-9), CCC=country (as a short code or numerical index), etc

2. Add a limited code for the more common options
Where a single option is selected, specify that option in the subject.
For example "Needed Found Dates (Micro)" or "Needed found dates (T1.5,T2.0)"
Where a more complex query was made (which is less likely) either use a very long subject (may need to be limited to 255 characters?) eg Needed found dates (Traditional Cache,Unknown Cache,T1.0,Australia,Small) or switch to the code per option 1 above.

I do not think there is a practical need to include the Loop option in the subject line.

There are some obvious difficulties. For example an easier solution will include turning off the multi-select capability in the option boxes. As these effect an "and" they do not fit well with the intention of Needed Found Dates (eg selecting T1 and T1.5 will give all dates where both are missing, so will not help to complete the calendar for either terrain rating)

Adventure Lab finds not appearing in “needed found dates” tool

My adventure lab finds are correctly appearing in my geocaching.com stats and ProjectGC stats (finds by found date) but do not appear in the “Needed Found dates” tool.

Examples from my stats are the 8th Feb and 28th Feb. The 8th Feb is correctly shown as 14 finds in my geocaching.com stats but incorrectly shown as 9 finds in the Needed Found Dates tool.

The 28th Feb is also incorrect. My finds =12 but are incorrectly shown in Needed Found Dates as 7.

I found other references to issues with adventure lab dates due to the timing of logs, but my issue is that the information is correct at source (geocaching.com stats) and also in one Project GC stat (finds by found date) but wrong in another ProjectGC stat (Needed Found Dates).

Enhancements to Needed Found Dates for BadgeGen

Badgegen has just had a country badge and now a related tool upgrade is needed to fully make use of it:

The following AddOns are currently available on Country Badges from the ruby-level upwards:
366 calendar - having a full found calendar with caches found only in this country
...

Please add the cache location filter set (country/state/region) to Tools > Needed Found Dates

Needed found dates tool for loops does not include lab-caches, can they be added?

Needed found dates tool for loops does not include lab-caches (which statistics at geocaching (.) com does) is there a reason? If not, can this be changed to include lab-caches?

This mean a challenge needing for example 10 finds on each day can not be fulfilled with lab-caches using a Project GC checker (which is required on all challenges). It would be fulfilled according to statistics at geocaching (.) com, but that statistics would be “overruled” by the Project GC checker.
