The FTF tab is a tab displayed on a user's Profile Stats page, consisting of eleven modules. The tab tracks a users First to Finds if they have tagged them correctly.

Various FTF numbers
This module is similar to the "Some numbers" in the Finds tab. It is a list of miscellaneous statistics, generally self explanatory, about the users FTFs. The nearest and furthest FTFs, and the distance to the FTF-cache centroid, are hidden to other users for privacy reasons but can be shown either to friends or for public if the user opts to do that in their profile stats settings.

FTF Maps
This module shows some maps of the countries the user have logged a FTF in, they can be tabbed between regions and counties. This is a smaller selection of the maps tab for all found caches.

FTF calendar
This module is a calendar (also called 366 grid), showing the found date of the users FTF. Below it shows the total number of FTF-dates and how many percent of the calendar that is filled.

Users with paid membership can click on "Type: -" in the top left corner, the grid will cycle through various cache types: Traditional, Multi, Mystery, Lab cache, Event cache, Letterbox, Earthcache, Wherigo, CITO, Virtual and back to All.

Users with paid membership can click on "Size: -" in the top right corner, the grid will cycle through various cache sizes:
Micro, Small, Regular, Large, Not chosen, Virtual, Other and back to all.

First FTF by location
This module list the users first FTF for each location down to county-level. The date, GCCode, cache type and cache name is shown. Below is a summary of number of countries, regions and counties the user have logged an FTF in.

First FTF by cache type
This module list the users first FTF for each cache type. Below is the total number of cache types the user have logged as FTF.

FTF by type & FTF by size
These two modules show the amount and percentage of each cache type and each cache size of a users FTFs. These modules can be switched between tables and pie charts by clicking the symbol after the name of the module.

FTF by difficulty rating & FTF by terrain rating
These two modules show the amount and percentage of the difficulty ratings and terrain ratings of the users FTFs. These modules can be switched between tables and pie charts by clicking the symbol after the name of the module. Under the table the average is shown.

FTF D/T Chart
This module shows the D/T Chart (often called 'Fizzy Grid') for a users FTFs. Under the chart is information about how many different D/T-combinations the user has logged as FTF and how many of those were rated with a difficulty or terrain of 3 or greater.

Users with paid membership can click on "Type: -" in the top right corner, the grid will cycle through various cache types: Traditional, Multi, Mystery, Letterbox, Earthcache, Wherigo, Virtual and back to All.

Users with paid membership can click on "Size: -" in the top right corner, the grid will cycle through various cache sizes:
Micro, Small, Regular, Large, Not chosen, Virtual, Other and back to all.

Way to 81 (FTF)
This module shows the first FTF of each D/T-combination logged as FTF by a user. Difficulty or terrain of 3 or greater is marked with bold.

FTFs by month & and FTFs by weekday
These two modules show the amount and percentage of each month and each weekday of a users FTFs. These modules can be switched between tables and pie charts by clicking the symbol after the name of the module. Below the weekday-module a summary of weekends vs weekdays is shown.

FTF list
This module shows a list of all FTFs by a user. If the user has more than 30 FTFs, only the first 10 and the last 10 are shown with a link for showing the additional FTFs in the middle. A FTF List with more details can be found at FTF List.
The Milestones tab is a tab in a user's Profile Stats. As the name suggest, this tab shows a user's milestones. This tab has four modules.

Milestones
The first module shows a list of the user's milestones. The first milestones are 1, 10, 50 and 100 caches, after that and up to 1000 caches every hundredth cache is considered a milestone. Between 1000 and 5000 caches every five hundredth cache is considered a milestone, and beyond that every thousandth cache is listed. At the bottom of the list the users most recent cache is shown, even if it is not a milestone.

Order
Project-GC orders the logs by three fields in ascending order.
# The date of the found log.
# The full timestamp of when the log was created.
# The ID of the log. Since logs of geocaches and logs of lab caches are from different systems their log-ids are not compatible. In this case labs are sorted last. But this will only be an issue if a log for a geocache is created on the same second as one for a lab cache.

Before 2024-02-19 Project-GC sorted the milestones based on log dates and log-ids only. Lab caches were always sorted last on every day.

Different milestones at Project-GC vs Geocaching.com
The milestones on this tab may not match the milestones shown in the user's Geocaching.com profile for multiple reasons. The milestones at Project-GC are calculated and not fetched from Geocaching.com. At Geocaching.com, the user can chose to lock their milestones to a specific cache even if it's not the milestone that is calculated by Geocaching.com, this is not possible to do at Project-GC. Geocaching.com also includes retracted geocaches, which aren't even known to Project-GC. This should not be an issue in the future since new guidelines say that logged geocaches shouldn't be retracted (but the effect for previous loggers of already-retracted cacher will remain, though).

First cache by country
This is a list of the first cache the user found in each country they have found caches in. The list shows date, country, cache type, GC code and the milestone of that cache.

First cache by region in home country
This is a list of the first cache the user found in each region they have found caches in. Only regions in the user's home country are shown. The list shows date, region, cache type, GC code and the milestone of that cache. Under the list it's shown how many of the regions of the home country the user have found a cache in.

First cache by cache type
This is a list of the first cache the user found of each cache type they have found. The list shows date, country, cache type, GC code and the milestone of that cache.
The Finds tab is the first tab displayed on a user's Profile Stats page, consisting of twenty-two modules. The user's own tab can be displayed on their geocaching profile using code generated by the Create dynamic image HTML code button. The page gives the number of caches that user has found, followed by information about the user's finds, as follows:
Cumulative finds by month
This is a chart of the number of caches found throughout the course of a year, shown as dashed lines for each year, which should be read against the left hand axis. The cumulative finds are shown in the darker shaded area of the graph, and should be read against the right hand axis.
Clear
Finds by month per year
Bar charts showing the number of finds each month in each year, with the number of days caching shown underneath. By default only the current and previous year are shown, but earlier years can be selected.

Some numbers
A list of miscellaneous statistics, generally self explanatory. The nearest and furthest caches, and the distance to the cache centroid, are hidden to other users for privacy reasons but can be shown either to friends or for public if the user opts to do that in their profile stats settings.

Log similarity is an indication of how much the user's logs differ - a high score means their logs have a lot of repeated content, a low score means they are more diverse.

Charts
Various self-explanatory charts showing values of the following:

*Finds by type
*Finds by size
*Finds by difficulty rating
*Finds by terrain rating
*Average difficulty per year
*Average terrain per year
*Finds by month
*Finds by weekday
*Finds by year cache placed
*Finds to current date for each year
*Finds by degrees from home
*Finds by distance from home
*Finds by bearing (in the form of a radar chart)
*Finds by distance (in the form of a radar chart)

These are all bar charts unless otherwise stated.

Note that size, difficulty and terrain ratings are based on the current value of each cache, and may have changed from when the user logged them. The maximum value of each is shown darker.

Difficulty/Terrain chart
A grid showing all 81 combinations of Difficulty and Terrain ratings, with the number of caches found for each combination. Below there is information about how many combination out of the 81 the user have found and how many of the caches that were rated with either Difficulty or Terrain of 3 or greater.

Way to 81
Below the grid is a summary of the number of the combinations, with a value and percentage of those with a difficulty or terrain rating of 3 or more. There is a link to the D/T Matrix Tool to help the user find which caches they need to complete the next loop.

Filling in the grid increases the user's Matrix Cacher Badge.

Extreme by category
A summary of how many extreme caches of each type have been found by the user by country, region and county (see below).

Extremes by area
This module shows which extremes has been found. In simple terms extremes refers to attributes like most western, highest, most favorite points and so forth.

By clicking the arrows in the first column one can expand a country to show data per region, if such data exists. By clicking the arrow once more the view switches to showing counties.

The current extremes are:
* Most finds
* Most favorited
* Highest Wilson score
* Oldest
* Most central
* Most northern
* Most eastern
* Most southern
* Most western
* Most central
* Highest

Which geocache is an extreme is determined by finding the current most extreme in its field. For example the most western one. Current meaning a none archived. Then that geocache, all geocaches that are on that coordinate, or further west, including archived, are counted as "most western". This means that there may be multiple geocaches counting as "the most western", both archived and none archived. The concept also means that you can lose an icon if a geocache is published further west in the future.

At the bottom of the module there is a summary.

Note that the module shows finds. If you own the extreme yourself you can't log it, and therefore can't achieve the icon, by modern geocaching standards.

Caches with most favorite points
This section lists the 10 caches the user has found with the most favorite points, including GCcode, name, type, location, and favorite points for each cache. It can be expanded to show the top 100 caches.

Additionally it shows the total amount of favorite points on logged geocaches, and their average.

The Top Favorites list can be used to improve these statistics, and increase the user's Favorite Cacher Badge.

Most favorited by type/size
These give a list of the caches found by the user of each type or size with the most favorite points.

Most favorited by D/T
This gives a list of all D/T combinations. Hovering over each entry displays the name of the cache found by the user with the most favorite points for that D/T combination, and the number displayed is the number of points received by that cache.

Oldest geocaches found
This section lists the 10 oldest geocaches the user has found, including age, when it was hidden, when it was found by the user, GCcode, country, type, and cache name.

Additional tables detail the oldest caches by type, size and D/T ratings, stating how old each cache is in days. The D/T grid does not directly specify which cache it is, but clicking on the number links to the cache page.

Highest and lowest elevations
This section lists the 10 highest and 10 lowest caches the user has found, including GCcode, cache name, type, location and height.

Additionally it shows the average height of logged geocaches, and total travelled cache-to-cache elevation.

The Top Elevation and Top Elevation (lowest) lists can be used to improve these statistics, and increase the user's High Altitude Cacher and Low Altitude Cacher Badges.

Finds by found date
This module is a calendar (also called 366 grid), showing the found date of the caches the user has found.

The Needed Found Dates tool can be used to improve these statistics, and increase the user's Calendar Cacher Badge.

Finds by hidden date
This module is a calendar (also called 366 grid), showing the hidden date of the caches the user has found.

* Most finds
* Most favorited
* Highest Wilson score
* Oldest
* Most central
* Most northern
* Most eastern
* Most southern
* Most western
* Most central
* Highest

TabNav

Way to 81
Below the grid is a summary of the number of the combinations, with a value and percentage of those with a difficulty or terrain rating of 3 or more. There is a link to the D/T Matrix Tool to help the user find which caches they need to complete the next loop.

Filling in the grid increases the user's Matrix Cacher Badge.

- Oldest
- Most northern
- Most eastern
- Most southern
- Most western
- Most central
- Highest
- Most finds
- Most favorited

Additionally it shows the total amount of favorite points on logged geocaches, and their average.

The Top Favorites list can be used to improve these statistics, and increase the user's Favorite Cacher Badge.

The Needed Found Dates tool can be used to improve these statistics, and increase the user's Calendar Cacher Badge.

Finds by hidden date
This module is a calendar (also called 366 grid), showing the hidden date of the caches the user has found.

The Map Hidden Date tool can be used to improve these statistics.

Finds by hidden month
This module is a calendar (also called 366 grid), showing the hidden month of the caches the user has found.

The Map Hidden month tool can be used to improve these statistics, and increase the user's Jasmer Cacher Badge.

Finds by owner
This module lists the 20 cache owners for which the user has found the most caches from, with the next 20 also listed below.

Additionally, the total number of distinct cache owners found is displayed at the bottom.

Collected attributes
This is a chart of all the available attributes at Geocaching.com. The ones that the user has found are shown in saturated colors and the ones they have not are in grayscale. Under each attribute there is a number that shows how many of the user’s found caches that have the attribute. Hovering over a attribute give you a tooltip that shows the name of the attribute. There is also information about how many of the attributes the user has found and the percentage of the total number of available attributes that makes.

Finding more attributes increases the user's Attribute Cacher Badge.
The Challenges tab is a tab in a users Profile Stats and it is only available for users with a paid membership, this tab shows the challenge caches that a user has logged and consists of four modules.

Challenge Maps
This module shows some maps of the countries the user have logged a challenge cache in, they can be tabbed between regions and counties. This is a smaller selection of the maps tab for all found caches.

Challenges logged
This module is a list of all challenges the user has logged. The list shows the date the challenge was logged as found, the country, the D/T-rating, the challenge difficulty, the name and GCcode. If the user has found more than 30 challenges only the first 10 and the last 10 are shown with a link for showing the additional challenges in the middle of the list. Below is a link to the signed challenges tool.

Challenges by found date
This module is a calendar (also called 366 grid), logging a challenge for each calendar date will award the user with the 366 addon for their The Achiever badge.

Challenges D/T
This module is a grid showing all 81 combinations of Difficulty and Terrain ratings, with the number of challenge caches found for each combination.

Below the grid is a summary of the number of the combinations, with a value and percentage of those with a difficulty or terrain rating of 3 or more.

Challenge difficulties
This module is a table showing the 101 possible challenge difficulties and the number of challenges the user has logged for each challenge difficulty. The table should be read as the y-axis having the tens and the x-axis having the singular digit, for example the box where the row marked 40-49 and the column marked +7 meet would be challenge difficulty 47.

General Information
Many tools and top lists on Project-GC can have different filters applied to get different information. On some of them only a subsection of the filters can be used and some tools or top lists have filters that are only available for that specific tool or list.

Profile name
This filter highlights the user in a top list, clicking the button with a blue silhouette and a pencil will fill the box with the user name of the authenticated user. For the tools that can be used to compare something between two or more users, this filter has an extra box labelled Compare with for inputting other users who are to be compared. Users with a paid membership can use the button with a table on it to turn on multi compare.

Location-based Filters
Cache location
This filter allows a user to only show caches from certain areas, usually with country, region and county options. It is available in most top lists and tools.

Center/Radius (km)
This filter is an alternative to cache location which allows an input for an address or coordinates, and the radius from that place. All the caches in the result will be from this area. It is available in many top lists.

Only people from
This filter appears in top lists, and allows the user to only search for users that have had their home location calculated to be in a certain country or region.

Cache-stat Filters
Cache name
This filter allows users with a paid membership to find caches that begin with, contain, or end with any inputted string, for example if you wanted all the caches that begin with 'Church Micro'. It is case-sensitive, and is available in most top lists and Map Compare. Filter is a feature for users with a paid membership.

Cache type / size
This filter allows the user to filter the cache results to show only those that are of a singular or list of types and/or sizes.

Difficulty / Terrain
This filter allows the user to filter the cache results to show only those that have specific or a range of difficulty and/or terrain ratings.

D/T type / size
This is a special filter for the D/T Matrix tool, that allows the user to filter caches filling their grid with specific types or sizes. It differs from the normal Difficulty / Terrain and Cache type / size filter since it searches for the missing D/T combinations with the filter, whereas the normal ones just filter the output.

Attribute required
This filter appears only on the Needed found dates tool, and allows the user to filter their found calendar to only include caches that have a selected positive attribute.

Negative attribute required
This filter appears on the Needed found dates tool, and allows the user to filter their found calendar to only include caches that have a selected negative attribute.

GC-Code
This filter appears on the Log Diff tool, and allows the user to filter on log differences on a specific geocache.

Log-based & Ownership Filters
From
This is only available on the Map not found caches tool, and allows the user to filter caches which have not been found from the inputted date. For example, entering 2018-01-01 would return all caches without a find from Jan 1 2018 to the search date, regardless of any finds before that date.

From/To Hidden date
This filter allows a user to include caches only with a hidden date within a certain time frame. One or both of the fields 'from' and 'to' dates can be used.

From/To Log date
This filter allows a user to only include caches that they have posted a found log on within a certain time frame. One or both of the fields 'from' and 'to' dates can be used.

Hide Disabled / Archived / Premium
This filter allows a user to hide caches that are Disabled, Archived or Premium from the result. It is available in the top lists under Cache stats. Checking the box for "found" will hide all the found caches for the user chosen in Profile name from the top list and so on.

Hide Found / Owned / Not found
This filter allows a user to hide caches they have found, caches that they own or caches they have not found. It is available in the top lists under Cache stats. Checking the box for "found" will hide all the found caches for the user chosen in Profile name from the top list.

None/One/Both/Owned found
This is a filter for the Map Compare tool that allows the user to show the caches that none, one of or both of the compared profiles have found. It also allows you to mark the user's owned caches as found.

Show Disabled / Archived
This filter allows a user to show caches that are Disabled or Archived in the result. It is available for map based tools.

Include Archived
This filter allows a user to include archived caches in the Geocaches per area-list.

List Filters
Bookmark list
This filter allows some tools and top lists to only include caches in the result, that are in a specific bookmark list. To find a bookmark list, select the owner of the bookmark list, then select the desired list from the result.

Ignore Bookmark list
This filter allows some tools and top lists to exclude certain caches from the result, that are in a specific bookmark list. To find a bookmark list, select the owner of the bookmark list, then select the desired list from the result. The filter is generally a feature for users with a paid membership.

Virtual GPS
This filter allows some tools and top list to only include caches in the result, that appear in a selected Virtual GPS list. The filter, as the Virtual GPS, is only available for users with a paid membership.

Other
Custom filter
Users with a paid membership can create advanced filters to use in some places. See Custom filters for more information.

Exclude
This filter, on the Map of challenge caches, allows the user to exclude any or none of the disabled, archived, premium, fulfilled or not fulfilled caches from the result. Whether you fulfill a challenge is decided either if a user runs a checker, or by the Auto-challenge-checkers that run for paid members.

Exclude traveling
This is a filter on the Map NESW/Highest/Lowest and Map Oldest/Most FP/Most Found tools, which allow the user to remove the caches on the bookmark list BMAFMJR, which is a list of various traveling, antipode and locationless caches that would cause the results to become inaccurate.

Loop
The loop filter is a numbers field use to search for the next loop in a tool that supports loop. For example if a user has already filled their calendar grid they can use the loop filter set to two on the Needed Found Dates to start working on the second loop.

Max number of geocaches
This filter allows some top lists based on hides to limit the number of caches used per owner. For instance, in the Logs Received top list, if you set max number of geocaches to 2, only the top 2 most logged caches from each owner will count to the total.

Route
This filter allows some tools to only output caches within a certain distance from a specified linear route, as specified in the Route Builder tool. This filter is a feature for users with paid membership.

Show
This is a filter available on the map of challenge caches tool, and it allows the user to view only the challenge caches that have, or do not have, a Project-GC Challenge checker available. If the 'show all' option is ticked, then the filter can be toggled on and off while viewing the map.

6278087: Merging northern/southern/eastern/western into one section, to avoid repetition

General information
This is an expression used by Profile stats module Extremes by area

In simple terms "extremes" refers to attributes like most western, highest, most favorite points and so forth.

Some of the below are affected by the setting for Antipode caches.

Calculation
Which geocache is an extreme is determined by finding the current most extreme in its field. For example the most western one. Current meaning a none archived, but potentially disabled. Then that geocache, all geocaches that are on that coordinate, or further west, including archived, are counted as "most western". This means that there may be multiple geocaches counting as "the most western", both archived and none archived.

Various event types are excluded since the events aren't meant to be "permanent".

Tool
A tool to provide the extremes in a given county, region or country is availble here. It is possible to select multiple counties within the same region or country, in which case the extremes for all selected counties are given.

Categories
Most finds
The geocache with the most number of Found it logs.

Most favorited
The geocache with the most Favorite points.

Highest Wilson score
The geocache with the highest Wilson score.

Oldest
This is based on the hidden date fields, as opposed to the publish date field. There is also a hard-coded minimum month to minimize the risk of fabricated data.

Most central
The most central geocache in the area, based on geographical data (not demographical data). The central point of an area can be counted in several ways. With this fact in mind it is very likely that Project-GC's central point may not match what's commonly known. Project-GC has implemented what they believe is the most correct way to calculate it.

Project-GC uses its polygon data and then calculates a centroid using the GIS function ST_Centroid.

Various reasons why Project-GC's center might not match other definitions:

* Project-GC calculates a Centroid. Other methods might use the center of a bounding box for example.
* Project-GC uses the polygon data it has for the area. This data might not match the data used by others.
* Project-GC uses country definitions as Geocaching.com has them. In some cases it means that islands belonging to a country does not.
* Many commonly known centers are based on very old calculations, which are less precise than we can do with today's computers.
* Some commonly known centers has been calculated by compacting the areas by removing all sea water and "moving islands" onto mainland.
* Different handling of the fact that the Earth is a sphere, and not flat, and not perfectly round.
* Some have also used methods to divide the country into equal parts of lands (measured in area).
* Some methods include sea water, which Project-GC avoids.

External sources to better understand the issues:
* Geographical centre.
* Sveriges geografiska mittpunkt (Swedish)

Most northern/southern/eastern/western
The geocache with the highest or lowest latitude or longitude number, depending on direction. Plotted coordinates is what counts, not any final solution. As always the country assigned to the geocache is also what counts, not where it's actually geographically located.

Highest
The geocache with the highest elevation according to Project-GC's elevation data.

It's intentional that there isn't a "Lowest" category. The data isn't reliable enough.

Weighted percent
The overall percentage of extremes found in a country, with region extremes weighted by how many regions there are in the country and county extremes weighted by how many counties there are in the country.

Three different percentages are calculated independently:

* Percentage of country extremes found (country extremes found / categories)

* Percentage of region extremes found (region extremes found / regions in the country / categories)

* Percentage of county extremes found (county extremes found / counties in the country / categories)

Then the average is taken of these percentages to get the Weighted percent.

If project-gc doesn't have counties for the country, then the weight of the county extremes is 0 and the Weighted percent is the average of country percent and region percent.

If project-gc doesn't have regions for the country either, then the weight for the region extremes is 0, and the Weighted percent is the same as country percent.

The bars shown are divided into sections for country percent, region percent and county percent, and by hovering your mouse over the Weighted percent, you can see these individual percentages.

FAQ
Several of the below should probably be moved into a proper page. Like Map extremes, Extremes by category, Extremes by area.

; I'm working on updating my bookmark list of important US caches, and now that PGC lists extremes, I'm adding the "official" highest cache to each state. Do you have an easy way to generate the highest cache for each US State?
: The Map extremes tool supports multi-select of regions (states). Click the multi-select button to the right of County to enable it. Do your search, select the correct tab below the map, select all, and add to Virtual GPS.

; I'm noticing some states are missing. At first I thought it was because I own two/three, but Maryland (which I own) is listed, but Ohio (which I've found but don't own) is missing.
: Make sure that you have added a filter to show your own finds. It's likely that you have already found these Extremes that you believe are missing.

; How does the colors in Extremes by category work?
: It's a color-heatmap going from green to red. Green has the fewest finds, red has the most finds. It's calculated based on the values on that row (area level).

; How does the Weighted percent work?
: The visual representation is divided into three sections. The sections show the percentage of country extremes found, percentage of region extremes, and percentage of county extremes. The percentage shown is the average of those three. You can hover the percentage with your mouse to get more detailed numbers.

; What does Unique mean in the footer?
: A geocache can typically be both the one with the most favorite points and the one with most finds. That would grant you two Extremes, but only one unique Extreme.

; I have found the Extreme with the highest amount of favorite points in San Diego, but I didn't get any Extreme for California.
: The extremes are determined per administrative level. There is probably another geocache in the region (state) that has more favorite points than the one you found. It may be the one with most favorite points in San Diego, that doesn't mean it is the one with the most in California.

; I have logged GCxxxx as the oldest geocache of Noord-Brabant in The Netherlands, but it's now archived. What will happen?
: It will still count as an Oldest Extreme for you. How it works is that there is a daily process that finds the oldest non-archived geocache for each area. Then all geocaches, in that area, that are at least that old counts as the Oldest extreme, regardless of if they are archived or not. The same concept applies for all Extremal categories.

; Why isn't there an extreme for Favorite percent?
: First off we think it's enough with two Extremes based on favorite points. But the data would be to volatile. A new geocache with a single log and one favorite point would end up at 100% FP%. The day after it might be down to 12%. We also find the Wilson score to be a better measurement for "best geocache".

; Can I lose my Extreme?
: Yes, for example in the case of Most western, if a new geocache which has a more extreme value is published it will beat the one you logged, and you'll lose it. Similar with Most logs or Most favorite points, if another geocache passes the one you logged it's off the list of Extremes.

6278087: Providing link to tool

Types
Oldest
This is based on the hidden date fields, as opposed to the publish date field. There is also a hard-coded minimum month to minimize the risk of fabricated data.

Most northern
The geocache with the highest latitude number. Plotted coordinates is what counts, not any final solution. As always the country assigned to the geocache is also what counts, not where it's actually geographically located.

Most eastern
See most northern.

Most southern
See most northern.

Most western
See most northern.

* Geographical centre.
* Sveriges geografiska mittpunkt (Swedish)

Highest
The geocache with the highest elevation according to Project-GC's elevation data.

It's intentional that there isn't a "Lowest" type. The data isn't reliable enough.

Most finds
The geocache with the most number of Found it logs.

Most favorited
The geocache with the most Favorite points.

Bar charts
Various self-explanatory bar charts showing values of the following:

*Finds by type
*Finds by size
*Finds by difficulty rating
*Average difficulty per year
*Average terrain per year
*Finds by month
*Finds by weekday
*Finds by year cache placed
*Finds to current date for each year

Note that size, difficulty and terrain ratings are based on the current value of each cache, and may have changed from when the user logged them. The maximum value of each is shown darker.

Difficulty/Terrain chart
A grid showing all 81 combinations of Difficulty and Terrain ratings, with the number of caches found for each combination. Below there is information about how many combination out of the 81 the user have found and how many of the caches that were rated with either Difficulty or Terrain of 3 or greater.

Way to 81
Below the grid is a summary of the number of the combinations, with a value and percentage of those with a difficulty or terrain rating of 3 or more. There is a link to the D/T Matrix Tool to help the user find which caches they need to complete the next loop.
Filling in the grid increases the user's Matrix Cacher Badge.

- Oldest
- Most northern
- Most eastern
- Most southern
- Most western
- Most central
- Highest
- Most finds
- Most favorited

Additionally it shows the total amount of favorite points on logged geocaches, and their average.

The Top Favorites list can be used to improve these statistics, and increase the user's Favorite Cacher Badge.

Oldest caches found
This section lists the 10 oldest caches the user has found, including age, when it was hidden, when it was found by the user, GCcode, country, type, and cache name.

The Needed Found Dates tool can be used to improve these statistics, and increase the user's Calendar Cacher Badge.

Finds by hidden date

These souvenirs are awarded when a user logs an Event that has a souvenir; these are generally Mega-Events, Giga-Events, Block Party-Events or similar.

Event-related souvenirs
These souvenirs are awarded when a user logs an Event or a CITO-Event on a specific date decided by Geocaching HQ, for example logging a CITO during "CITO Season" or logging an official GIFF-Event.

Specific-day souvenirs
These souvenirs are awarded when a user logs a cache on a specific date, for example logging a cache on International Geocaching Day or logging a Earth Cache on International EarthCache Day generally awards a souvenir.

Other souvenirs
These are the souvenirs that do not fit in any of the other categories, these are generally souvenir promotions that make use of the Leaderboard or give other tasks for the user to complete but can also be for specific caches.

GeoTour souvenirs
These souvenirs are awarded for completing a GeoTour.

6278087: Add TabNav and basic lead information

TabNav
The Maps tab is a tab in a user's Profile Stats that shows where they have found caches. This tab is a bit different compared to the others since it does not have modules in the same way.

Description
At the top there is a World map that shows how many of the 250 countries the user has found caches in. Under the world map all the found countries are listed with the number of caches found in each country and the percentage of caches found in that country. The percentages can be used to see how far the user is from gaining the next level of color based on the dynamic requirements. The percentage itself is calculated as number of finds, divided by the number of none archived geocaches, rounded down to closest even percentage. [ floor((numFinds/numActive)*100) ]

Next are maps for the continents where the user has found caches and after that a map for each country that the user has found a cache in presented in order of number of finds. This tab will be very long if the user has logged caches in many countries.

If the country has county-support the maps of individual countries have toggle buttons for regions and counties, and there are also buttons for each individual region that the user has found caches in, clicking the button with the regions name produces a map of the region with the found counties marked.
Clear

Various settings
There are three Profile stats settings related to the maps:
* Algorithm
* Color theme
* Binary color mode

These settings can be found by visiting https://project-gc.com/Statistics/ProfileStats and expanding the Settings. For more a detailed description, see Profile_Stats settings.

Algorithm
The default is the coloring algorithm described above, using a combination of fixed numbers and a percentage of number of active geocaches in the area. This setting can be toggled to use only the above fixed numbers, or only the above percentages.

Color theme
There are also four color themes to choose between. The Earth colored theme has colors similar to the rest of Profile stats themselves, and is the default. The theme Nature uses colors in the green spectrum. Then there is the Rust theme, and finally a theme that is simply called Red to green which scales from red to green, via orange and yellow.

Examples

Binary color mode
A Binary color mode can be enabled, in which case the areas will either have a color or not. Either there is a find in the area, or not. The above 'Algorithm' option then becomes irrelevant.

Colors
Every area where the geocacher has found at least one geocache gets colored to show that they have geocached there. There are five levels of colors: the darker the color, the more finds in the area. The color levels are based on two requirements, whichever is lowest (easiest) is used.
| 5 || 5000 || 80% || [ 42,161, 15]
|}

The dynamic requirement is based on how many percent of the currently active geocaches the geocacher has found. More than 100% is possible if some of the finds are now archived. Using fixed numbers only has been tried, but for almost every single geocacher it means a darker color in 1-2 zones and then light colors in all others. Also there is a big difference between finding 1,000 geocaches in Germany/Nordrhein-Westfalen vs Germany/Hamburg, which makes it hard to use only fixed numbers.

Another variant for the coloring would be base it on the number of finds a geocacher has in the zone with the most finds in it. This however has the downside that it easily happens that other zones are downgraded after logging for example a Power trail, something that wasn't wished for. These are the reasons why the above system has been implemented.

Image sizes
The default size of the map images are made to fit Profile stats by using a size of max 734 pixels in width or 512 pixels in height. When clicking a map it opens up in a larger version. By copy/pasting the link a user can adjust the image size to use by adjusting the scale parameter (by adding &scale=VALUE to the url). Available values are: 1 (default), 2, 4, 8, 16.

Map sources
All maps are generated based on data from OpenStreetMap with one exception, Canada, which has a mix of sources. The polygon data is imported via OSM-Boundaries.com. If you find issues with the borders the data can be corrected in OpenStreetMap, Project-GC will then update its polygons with the next update.

6278087: currently four modules

TabNav
The Milestones tab is the second tab in a user's Profile Stats.

The BadgeGen tab in the Profile Stats shows the badges a user have earned. This tab is a bit different compared to the others since it does not have modules in the same way.

The main focus of the tab is the badges, more information about them can be found at BadgeGen. All badges can be viewed at 'all badges'. Under the badges the user have earned there is a list of how many badges they have earned of each quality.

The tab also includes country badges and the belts.

The buttons Badge information and Belt information can be used to see the requirements for each badge or the points for the belt.

TabNav
The Hides tab is a tab in the Profile Stats that tracks statistics about the users hidden geocaches and the logs received on them. It consists of twelve modules.

Cumulative finds of my caches + Caching karma
These two modules are both graphs. The first shows the cumulative number of times the user's caches have been found, both in each year (the dashed lines and the left axis) and in total (the shaded area and the right axis). The second shows how the user's karma has changed over time.

Owned caches statistics
A number of miscellaneous statistics about the user's owned caches, which are mostly self-explanatory.

See FP h-index for information about that statistic.

Logs received
This module has a list of all the user's hides, with each having the hidden date, last found date, number of finds, days per find, number of favourite points, GC-code, type and cache name listed with it. Archived caches have a strikethrough on their name.

At the top is a header, with the number of geocachers that have found the user's caches, number of logs received and number of total geocaches.

Finders by country
This is a top list of what country most of the finders of the users caches come from. Generally the country where the user owns most caches will be number one on this list. The list shows the countries name and flags, how many found it logs have been posted from people that seem to be living in that country and the percentage of the total logs on the users caches. The top list shows the top 20 countries and under the list there is information about how many nationalities that did not make the top list. Sometimes there are founds from 'unknown nationalities', this is due to Project-GC calculating the nationality based on the users geocaching activity since this information is not available from Geocaching.com.

Top finders of my caches
This is a top list of the accounts that have found the most of a users caches. The list shows the name of the finder, the amount of caches they have found and the percentage of the total caches owned by the user. The top list shows the top 20 finders and under it there is a box that shows the next 20 finders and how many caches they have found.

Placed by type + Placed by size
These two modules show the amount and percentage of each cache type and each cache size of a users hidden caches. These modules can be switched between tables and pie charts by clicking the symbol after the name of the module.

Placed by difficulty rating + Placed by terrain rating
These two modules show the amount and percentage of the difficulty ratings and terrain ratings of the users hidden caches. These modules can be switched between tables and pie charts by clicking the symbol after the name of the module.

Placed caches difficulty / terrain chart
This module shows the D/T Chart (often called 'Fizzy Grid') for a users hidden caches. Under the chart is information about how many different D/T-combinations the user have hidden and how many of those where rated with a difficulty or terrain of 3 or greater.

Placed caches by hidden date
This module is a calendar (also called 366 grid), this calendar shows the hidden date of the caches the user have placed.

Placed caches by found date
This module is a calendar (also called 366 grid), this calendar shows at what date the caches hidden by the user have been logged as found.

Placed caches found by month + Placed caches found by weekday
This module contains two bar charts. The first is the dates the user's hides were found sorted by month, the second by day of the week. The maximum value for each is shown darker. The weekday chart additionally states the number of weekday and weekend finds.

Hidden attributes
This is a chart of all the available attributes at Geocaching.com. The ones that the user have added to their caches are shown in saturated colors and the ones they have not used are in grayscale. Under each attribute there is a number that shows how many of the users hidden caches that have the attribute. Hovering over a attribute give you a tooltip that shows the name of the attribute. There is also information about how many of the attributes the user have hidden and the percentage of the total number of available attributes that makes.
The Milestones tab is the second tab in a user's Profile Stats. As the name suggest, this tab shows a user's milestones. This tab has three modules.
