The points resulted in a top list and depending on the placement on said top list the user was awarded a PGC-badge of a different color in their [[Profile Stats]].<br />

The badge requirements can be seen in the table below. Points were awarded for things like creating scripts for [[challenge checker]]s, using the [[Statbar]]s, having a [[paid membership]], using [[Profile Stats]] in the users profile at [[Geocaching.com]] etc. The function was removed in 2021 since the system caused too many issues, including countering cheaters and other abuse.<br />
