Note that a [[challenge checker]] could have a different definition for a specific continent. The challenge checker should only check for the requirements stated at the cache page so any questions related to what continent a country belongs to in a specific challenge cache is probably best answered by the cache owner. | Note that a [[challenge checker]] could have a different definition for a specific continent. In a few places Project-GC refer to continents, for example Europe, North America or Asia. These are defined by configured lists of countries at Project-GC.
Some countries are geographically placed in more than one continent, and others are more debatable. In these cases, Project-GC have decided to add the countries into both continents, so no user misses out. To be more correct would probably involve looking at which Geocaches are in which continent, but Project-GC deem this unnecessary. It would probably also raise other questions and issues. Below is a list of continents Project-GC have defined and their current country definitions.

Challenge checkers
Note that a challenge checker could have a different definition for a specific continent. The owner of the challenge cache might have asked for modifications of this list, like for example that the countries that are listed in two continents at Project-GC's standard list should only be listed in the continent they personally feel is the correct one. The challenge checker should only check for the requirements stated at the cache page so any questions related to what continent a country belongs to in a specific challenge cache is probably best answered by the cache owner.
