Find and log Geocaches with a Difficulty rating of 5.
Loop
Log twice the amount required for Diamond to get a second loop.
Addons
- 366 - Fill the calendar (366 days) with Difficulty 5 Geocaches.
- Leapday - Find at least one Difficulty 5 Geocache on a Leap day.
- FTF - Log FTF on at least one Difficulty 5 Geocache.
- Field puzzle - Log the amount required for Diamond, with Difficulty 5 Geocaches carrying the Field Puzzle attribute.
History
This Badge existed in BadgeGen v3. With the 4.x release in early 2020 the upper requirements were almost double. The reason was to make it more even with The Rugged Cacher. At this point in time there were 16000 Geocachers who had The Brainiac Diamond, but only 6500 who had The Rugged Cacher Diamond. As Project-GC see these as equivalents, even though they are opposites, Project-GC figure they should be similarly hard to achieve. At the same point in time The Rugged Cacher got its requirements decreased.
