When I add the Dynamic HTML code to my geocaching.com Profile, why does it display a big red circle with a crossout?

I can paste the full HTML for my stats and it works fine.

That's because you have set your statistics on geocaching.com to be hidden. By default, that setting carries over to Project-GC. You can change it in under "> Settings" on the Profile Statistics page.
