Hi,
Just wondering if a checker can be written to see if you have found the cache closest to your centroid?

Additional requirements...
Minimum 1000 cache finds.

I'm wondering if a challenge based on a cacher's centroid will be allowed.

Please ask your local reviewer if a challenge like this is acceptable before a scriptwriter spends time on developing a script

In the case that the challenge is accepted, it is important to define the centroid. Caches are spread all over the Earth surface and finds may be far away. Actually the centroid is always inside Earth. For example if you find one cache from north pole and another from south pole the centroid is in the center of Earth.

Pretty sure I meant the Centroid that is listed on everybodys Finds Tab on their PGC profile.
I thought being a PGC thing, you guys would be all over that?

Bear in mind that guideline 4 states

must come from information broadly available on Geocaching.com such as on the statistics page, cache placement dates, types, attributes, souvenirs, etc.

Your cache centroid is not available anywhere on geocaching.com, so probably wouldn't be allowed.

The centroid information is not available on GC at this stage.
