Hi I just signed GC995K7 and unfortunately have 60/100 finds in different counties. The current output is sorted by date. This makes it difficult to determine what I am missing to help qualify. Could we get a version of the checker that then sorts by states? Would be great to also have a map as well created to help identify potential areas to target. Works great in all 3 conditions. Thanksby MNTA - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

Looks like for cacher "Cool Cow Cachers" has finds in Indiana but the script output does not include their finds. Maybe a simple typo. Your total area is only 481212.9sqmi (13.61%) and you need 883987.03sqmi to make 1/4 of the US's area. Here are your qualifiers so far: California (155779.22sqmi) GCB12C "The Unknown Covered Bridge" Oregon (95988.01sqmi) GC25RYWby MNTA - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Looking at the requirements this challenge has three possible success requirements Two finds on the same calendar day 1) Find in the State of Hawaii and a different US state 2) Two different Counties of Hawaii (Though Maui county does have three islands so this is not a perfect checker) 3) Find in the State of Hawaii and any other country. Could reuse the same checker possibly as #1 but opby MNTA - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Cache was published this morning but looks like the link did not reset and no text is included either did I do something wrong?by MNTA - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
No worries. Thanks for thinking about it. The % is perfect. Will place the container and get published.by MNTA - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

Awesome thanks DrAcorn & Pleu! Works as expected. Guess I had a typo in my attempt at hacking the electoral college script so no problem with a new one I do the same thing in my work as well. Two requests if they are not too difficult to add: 1) When a person fails could you print out the percentage they have? I used CatClawsNerd The numbers seem a bit daunting when they get big.by MNTA - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
And who is that? I have rewritten the script to do the function. All I need is the little button to test and release.by MNTA - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
I modified the checker for GC9NW86 - Challenge to cover 25% of the land area of the US a week ago but needed the checker released for testing If the votes variable need to be an integer I'm fine with rounding to whole sq. miles. Also I did not know what to do with these but did the work for 51 of the areas: Puerto Rico 3,423.78 Northern Mariana Islands 182.33 United States Virgiby MNTA - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
One of the things I really appreciate from these checkers is the maps showing my finds would be totally cool to have the find map displayed. If possibleby MNTA - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
So looks like no one was picking this up so I took the liberties of trying.I downloaded the source of the electoral college challenge and hacked the script to change it to area. Unfortunately I don't know how to test it. Can one of you please test or release it and see how well/bad I did. If the votes variable need to be an integer I'm fine with rounding to whole sq. miles. Also I diby MNTA - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
No worries. As I stated initially this is a simple derivation of the electoral college challenge but using land area instead of electoral college votes. if this is done through some form of lookup table or file I'd be happy to do the cut and paste. This challenge is a derivation of the electoral college challenge. A find in each state or territory is worth the land area of that area. Goal is to pass 25% of the land area of the entire US & territories Source wikipedia: Alaska 570,640.95 Texas 261,231.71 California 155,779.22 Montana 145,545.80 New Mexico 121,298.15 Arizona 113,594.08 Nevada 109,781.18 Colorado 103,641.by MNTA - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Unfortunately as a Mac user GSAK is not supported. Thanks for the help. My manual list has a few more due to the. embedded nature of the name. Let's go ahead and drop this request. Thanksby MNTA - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Any update on this request?by MNTA - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

So the map compare still makes the searching a manual effort. Click on the cache read what key word you may need and then enter them one at a time. I have probably right now a dozen or so key words I'm searching for for various challenges. This is not very quick but does work I'll give you that. My suggestion is have an automated mechanism to search for caches that qualify. So as anby MNTA - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
Quick question My output says You have found 30 Green in 29 caches: So does this mean I have 29 qualifiers or 30? Looking at the description 29 would be the correct answer.by MNTA - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Works perfectly. I'm still a handful short.by MNTA - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Please provide a checker for English users which will be a majority of the local finders of this cache. Any exceptions can be flagged manually.by MNTA - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Can we please have a checker for English only then. If finders have foreign words they can use the old fashion manual method. Cache is in the US so most finders will be in English. Any enhancements can be provided by future caches. Please provide checker finding the word "green"by MNTA - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
