I suspect this challenge would not pass the reviewers.... the problem being "in the past 21 months". This is a form of time limiting and probably not allowed. I do have a souvenir script with a number of options : Configuration is as follows.... all of which are taken into account. If ANY single test fails, then the checker returns false. I signed this challenge ages ago, but didnt understand why I didnt qualify until recently GC24BZP https://project-gc.com/Challenges//19137 The challenge is to have a total of 50 unique finds that have either D5 or T5. For example 28 D5T1's and 22 D2T5 would qualify. (5/5's only count once) The checker is checking if there are 50 of either D5 or T5, not the sum.by GreyHams - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

Sorry, but this kind of challenge is no longer allowed by Groundspeak. Your reviewer would definitely reject it. Please have a look at the challenge guidelines: https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=127&pgid=206by GreyHams - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I have added a bunch more special chars to the exclusion list, I think this is as good as its going to get. Problem is that I cant just search for the european special romanised chars.... as chinese counts as well, I would have to search for every possible chinese character. So, we have to do it the other way and search for anything we have not excluded. This will pick up any cache where tby GreyHams - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

Here they are: The output lists all areas that qualify to help give a user an idea of what more they need. And I just looked at your stats.... you dont quite qualify and you have to qualify for your own challenges. You have 89 finds with 100 fave pointsby GreyHams - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
You could do 100 counties.... or 100 souvenirs... or 100 hides with at least 100 fave points each or 100 of the rarer types, like Letterboxes, Wherigo's or Virtuals edit: and I am a tragic, I travelled to the US (from Australia) specifically to go to the Going APE mega & do HQ...by GreyHams - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Bingo style checkers are reasonably common. As long as each individual challenge is OK, the bingo part is simple You already have picked up some of the things no longer allowed, like Benchmarks and Waymarking. Owning caches cannot be part of your challenge, same for XX finds/types in a day The 'lost and found' and APE caches are super rare. I needed a nice logical script that didnt rely on crazy amounts of recursion to balance myself.... Made a generic busy day script and your checker, can you please test and get back to us https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC47YCR/42780by GreyHams - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

Sorry, time limited caches are no longer allowed by Groundspeak, please see: https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=127&pgid=206#timeLimited We could create the checker, but the reviewers would definitely reject your challengeby GreyHams - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I found my bug... stupid really! ... fixed that. But... now nothing I do will make the script run fast enough to complete within the 60 seconds... even for you with a 'relatively' small total of finds (though you have a ton of countries). So, its time to abandon the 'area' first, 'type' second, 'DT' third model I had tried. I think an efficient algby GreyHams - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)

I have created the script, and shaved a lot of time off it..... - area : valid values are 'country', 'region', 'county'. In your example if your 'least' found country, has 5 finds of all different type for example, then the checker would select the first three and then move onto the next country.... and so on, but, if the last 2 for that first country had some rare D/T that you didnt find anywhere else, they would not be used and the checker would tell you that you failed. Therefore, this checker wouldby GreyHams - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
I think this challenge will fail the 'time-limited' clause in Groundspeaks rules. Challenges can no longer restrict anything to a limited time. You will have to modify the challenge to drop the time limit https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=127&pgid=206#timeLimitedby GreyHams - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
I agree the checker could give better feedback... it could, its partially my own laziness (though is it lazy if I am a volunteer and just spent 4 hours creating a checker)... but, having said that: - if you did 95% of a streak 5 years ago.... it doesn't really matter if you got 95% or 1%, its not 100%. You cannot change your finds from 5 years ago to meet a streak. - this challenge is aby GreyHams - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

I appreciate that it would be nice if the checker returned more detail for people that have not yet achieved the challenge... but: - this script is not likely to see any reuse as this kind of challenge would no longer be allowed, so spending hours getting the logging right for people that do not meet the challenge is not a priority of mine. - the challenge contains multiple ways to achieve...by GreyHams - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
