I added the "owned" feature to the checker. Now the owners of the oldest caches may fullfill requirements without need to find the own cache. It is important here because all regions must qualify.by arisoft - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Currently it does not allow owned as found but it would be a good to add.by arisoft - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
And be warned, the reviewer may still insist that this is a list of caches even it is not.by arisoft - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

> THREE OLDEST CACHES IN THE THREE PRAIRIE PROVINCES!!!!!!! This is possible but it is not allowed to make a challenge from a list of caches as you did. You can select which provinces are counted in and a checker can verify that a player has found the oldest cache from three of them. Older archived finds also qualifies.by arisoft - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

The checker accepts ALL older caches for that reason.by arisoft - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

QuoteIf you now still have a problem with the available proof via the geocaching.com-site i´m sure to be able to convince you also refering to a lot of recently published challenges. Your assistance by finding the proof on geocaching.com for these checkers would be much appreciated. I would like to see those recently published challenges allowing this kind of challenge.by arisoft - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)

Intresting choise (:P) and it is now locked for that challenge. No approval is needed from us. It is up to your local reviewer to accept or deny this challenge idea.by arisoft - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I saw other improvements but that script does not have all features you requested. You can sort the dates on Excel while you try to qualify the challenge. Just paste the lines to the speadsheet and sort it to see missing dates. When you have the gccode and the challenge ready for publishing I can make a new script which can do it a better way.by arisoft - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
You have only found 46 unique birthday caches. The limit is 365 because leap years are not allowed for challenges. The tool is here https://project-gc.com/Challenges//38294 happy hunting!by arisoft - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
QuoteThis challenge is not impossible but it is challenging. Now we are in trouble (:P)by arisoft - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
The challenge may be too hard/impossible to achieve if you can not guarantee that there is enough opportunities left for each date. I suggest you to consult with your local reviewer, will this challenge ever been published with these requirements.by arisoft - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

When new challenge cache is published, the system could verify that there is a registered checker for that cache and warn admins if no checker is found. The situation needs consultation with the publishing reviewer.by arisoft - Miscellaneous
I have solved this kind of problem by entering a list of dates for example solistice dates etc. My challenge was cancelled due to time limitations for such dates.by arisoft - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

Checker is here https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC4JKAN/37661 The checker shows unnecessarily all caches from all qualifying days instead of picking up just the needed caches, but it can not do any better output just now. Bubi68 and susi-knalltüte did not pass Rupinchen did not pass also but I can not find the reason. I may have the script already. I will try to figure how to use it in this case (:P)by arisoft - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I think that every case is a bit different. I am sure that there are still some active challenges which do not meet all challenge requirements but they are still challenges if the challenge ALR is honored by HQ, which is not the easiest task to verify. For example the CO changed afterwards the challenge rules to not allowed, which has been already happened. Did the challenge status disappear in tby arisoft - Miscellaneous
I have seen sometimes that the description, which I have already made for a script, has suddenly reverted to older version without warning. Also the name of the script may revert to the previous version. This may be caused by simultaneously opened tabs or forgetting to press save but whatever the reason is, the result is not wanted. Have others had similar experiences?by arisoft - Script development
The archiving note states that it was published as a challenge. If it had not been a challenge then it would not be archived.by arisoft - Miscellaneous
Good question. I have upvoted it because it states "This cache is a CHALLENGE CACHE." and there is word Challenge in the title. Explanation is also given in logs: "This challenge cache was mistakenly published, it does not meet the current challenge cache guidelines and must be archived."by arisoft - Miscellaneous

Is this "close to qualifying" now official definition because I have seen this more than once recently. I believe my local reviewers would not allow a challenge which is only close to qualifying for many.by arisoft - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Not definitely out of luck. You are allowed to make a voluntary challenge - unchallenge. I have just studied this subject and it was tedious work to get a local reviewer on the same page with all secret rules but it is possible and also well known at the HQ. Unchallenge is basically a traditional cache with description for voluntary challenge. If some geocachers like the idea - as I would - thby arisoft - Miscellaneous
