Looks like it now excludes locationless as requested. Thanks, should be good now.by Topher_LV - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hi, it has been brought to my attention that locationless (reverse) cache icons are being accepted by the checker towards this challenge. I wasn't aware you can log a locationless without actually visiting the country. This was not part of my original intent for this challenge, so please remove locationless from the allowed list for qualifying. Also, I just want to double check that AdLby Topher_LV - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

Hello, I am in need of a checker for an international icon challenge, as defined below: -Must find a variety of icons in different countries as follows: -At least 7 different icons in one country, AND -At least 6 different icons in another country, AND -At least 5 different icons in another country, AND -At least 4 different icons in another country, AND -At least 3 different icons inby Topher_LV - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I think this now looks good & appears to be functioning as intended. Thanks for your efforts on this! Chris aka Topher_LVby Topher_LV - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Thank you for working on this. I've been running several local cachers through the checker. I thought everything looked good, but then when I ran scottberks & shortyknits through, the checker says they both qualify, but only shows 1 county in each of their last 3 groups. (https://www.geocaching.com/profile/?u=scottberks) has used (https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GCA5YTG/76141 &qby Topher_LV - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hi, just checking in on this, hoping to add some clarity too. **edited with a few additional examples** I ran the checker, as currently written, for a few different people, here's the outputs: "Topher_LV found only 3 groups of 4 or more different County for the same Region, but needs to find 7 such groups." "sgauss found only 2 groups of 5 or more different County forby Topher_LV - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hi, I do not believe the checker is working as I intended. I do meet and exceed the requirements for this challenge. See below for a list of my qualifying states/counties with finds. Can you revisit this? Thanks for the update. I forgot to previously mention- lab caches & locationless cache types should be excluded from this challenge.by Topher_LV - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hi, just checking on the status of this or if you need anything else from me?by Topher_LV - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
**updated per requested format** Here's the list of qualifying counties. Also, the city of St. Louis, MO borders the river, but is independent & not part of a Missouri county. Is there a way to include that as well? Here are the proposed requirements for this challenge- Seven is Heaven: The Mighty Mississippi Challenge -Find a cache within a county (or parish in LA) that either borders or overlaps the Mississippi River, in 7 out of the 10 states that border or overlap the river (Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, Kentucky, Arkansas, Tennessee, Mississippi, Louisiana) -In addition, within tby Topher_LV - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Ok, no problem. Thanks again.by Topher_LV - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Ok thank you. Should be good to go. One last question- can the counter on the checker be reset prior to publication? I entered several cacher IDs to verify the checker with their stats.by Topher_LV - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Appears to be working accurately. Thanks for the quick response. Cache title will be "Triple Centennial 5 Star Challenge"by Topher_LV - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hi, I need a challenge checker for a new challenge, GC9Q05K. Challenge requirements: find 300 caches with terrain "5" rating, any difficulty. All cache types count. GC584QQ is a current challenge for 100 x T5 caches, so can just modify that checker? Thanks in advance. Topher_LVby Topher_LV - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Thank you. Lastly, the revised challenge will be named "Continental Corners Challenge." Can the checker have the same name?by Topher_LV - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Understood. Thanks for the explanations. Since that is the case, I guess I'll have to adjust the challenge. Can the checker be modified to just check for any finds in ALL 4 states- Washington, California, Florida, Maine? Thank you.by Topher_LV - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Thank you for your feedback. Yes, I know my reviewer stated it's also subject to peer review, but I guess I assumed most reviewers would have a common understanding of the rules so if it passed the initial review it should be ok. For my own knowledge, could you explain how this differs from streaks, which are still allowed up to 365 days from what I understand. Thank you, can I use this checker version? One question, can it filter for the cache types I listed?by Topher_LV - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Can the checker just output each qualifying cache, state and date found if the cacher qualifies? Right now it seems to output every year whether it passes the criteria or not which creates many lines of output, and it was a little difficult to find where the qualifying caches are specifically listed. Or can the qualifying year be listed first? Thanks!by Topher_LV - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I am requesting a checker for a travel related challenge with the following requirements- -You must find and log a physical cache in at least 3 of the 4 "corner states" of the continental USA: Washington, California, Florida, Maine. -Qualifying physical cache types for this challenge include: traditional, multi, letterbox, mystery, whereigo. -Qualifying finds must be made within tby Topher_LV - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
