Here's a checker for your cache with 6000 stars and Mysteries only: http://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC79A74/27872 Please let us know if that's what you require?by pieterix - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Yes, I actually had a hunch that is what happened. Will have to refrain from quietly editing posts. :)by pieterix - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
It only counts the caches once. When I ran it against my own profile with the original script I provided, I got 482 matches. With the new one, I only get 425 matches, which I think is correct. Also ran it against your profile and got 616 unique caches. Not sure where you see 68 matches for yourself, unless you also need the checker to be restricted to country, state or county?by pieterix - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
You may try the following checker: http://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC78W14/27859 Please let us know if that's what you require.by pieterix - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Here's a similar checker: http://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC79J1G/27850 Let us know if this is what you require.by pieterix - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Any feedback on the checker as mentioned in this thread? http://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC42CNY/27654by pieterix - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Just one note regarding this: * Your qualifying caches must have been originally placed by different cache owners. I don't think there's a way to get the original owner of a cache, so the script is using the current owners of the caches (related to cache adoptions).by pieterix - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Anybody working on a script for the "extended requirements" of these? If not, I'll take a stab at it. Fantasy Iowa Favorites Challenge by The Bride | GC39XBX | Iowa Fantasy Favorites Challenge by The Bride | GC39E9Q | Iowaby pieterix - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

According to http://project-gc.com/doxygen/lua-sandbox/classPGC__LUA__Sandbox.html one can get cache_description via the PGC_GetFinds() call. Any chance of also getting that field via the PGC_GetHides() call? Thanks.by pieterix - Script development
Wasn't there an owner_name field returned by PGC_GetFinds() a short while ago? owner_name would be useful since you then don't have to use PGC_ProfileId2Name() to convert owner_id into owner_name. owner_name can differ from placed_by, which can actually be any random junk. If owner_name can't be returned via PGC_GetFinds(), I'll simply have to do the lookup, which isn't tby pieterix - Script development
This is a slight modification on a script I recently wrote, so watch this space.by pieterix - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
It does check the types. One of the optimisations to limit the search grid is to skip anything past 12 of the same DT for a group of 12 days and that's where your 2nd type might appear to fall off the list. I have pondered that this might happen and you've now proven it. Will have to ponder how to fix that. Maybe I simply need to insert the 2nd type as the first one for the 12 day perioby pieterix - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
The following will hopefully do what you need: http://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC5HPJE/27656 During the verification of the tag, the following person doesn't qualify: Reiner G. Nuss. Could you maybe check if the test is correctly failing on this one? Also please let me know if it operates correctly otherwise.by pieterix - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I felt like a bit of a challenge, so... As mentioned, (a) and (b) are easy. (d) is easy too. The problem is (c), since it becomes an exponential problem once you've found more than 12 caches in those 12 days, since you have to look through all the possible permutations. For example, if you found 20 caches, you have 8*7*6*5*4*3*2 = 40320 permutations to check. Now if you have a few of thosby pieterix - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
You're welcome. It was a fun challenge to code and I've learnt something too. It all depends on how you want the limitation of the 6 types to operate when working with longer streaks: 1. must be achieved within the first 31 days and you don't care about the types in the days following that 31 (easy) 2. must apply for each 31 day period inside your longer streak period, ie. movby pieterix - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Initially I had it running for as long a streak as it could find (first occurrence in your geocaching lifetime), but after thinking about it for a bit, I realised that the condition of needing 6 types of caches might be violated as you go along. It's more complex to keep track of cache types for the last 31 days than to keep that for only 31 days, ie. the moving window is the issue. Unless yby pieterix - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Ah, I misunderstood the request then. I thought you only wanted those 3 types. Let me find a new script. So you want any 3 types? New checker then: http://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC78XHD/27609by pieterix - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
No, you simply include the link I gave you. And yes, I suspected that this challenge would be way too easy if it was based in the USA. :) And please let us know if the checker is working as expected.by pieterix - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Yes, that's easy to do. So only 1 of each anywhere in the USA? If so, the following should do it: http://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC78XHD/27608by pieterix - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Added options for positive and negative, so you can include both or either of them. Please change tag to suit.by pieterix - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Negative ones counted as well now. Thanks for pointing out the glitch, vogelbird.by pieterix - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

I've taken a stab at this: http://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC59F90/27592 Any suggestions or comments on it? Edit: seems the script is failing on big users, like Marcus Vitruvius with 15000+ finds.
