Many thanks this is exactly what I was looking for. Tag updated.by ShammyLevva - Miscellaneous
I've tagged a challenge https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC77DB5/32991 but I'm getting an issue with traditionals it seems the script is maxing out at 1000 caches. I'd rather not clone this script just to remove the limit without first understanding the performance impact on your systems. Also it's such a useful script it shouldn't just be cloned without good reason.by ShammyLevva - Miscellaneous
Many thanks that's exactly what I was looking for. Its a really powerful script. Tag added and working.by ShammyLevva - Miscellaneous
I was looking to tag a checker that has criteria of X "unknown caches" and separately Y & Z attributes found (in this case field puzzle and special tool required). The existing checker "Number of attributes (GentlePurpleRain) mod (by Target.)" has almost what is needed but it does Y & Z attributes where the cache is of type unknown and not X unknown caches and Y &by ShammyLevva - Miscellaneous
Thanks all the CO is happy with checker this can be closed.by ShammyLevva - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Such a checker isn't possible as there is no solid way of being sure a cache is near a memorial. You would need a list of all qualifying caches. Whilst it is relatively easy for a human to check a list of caches to see if they qualify it is almost impossibly hard for a computer to do this as it has no reference to check against.by ShammyLevva - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
Ahh many thanks. I'll clarify that with CO.by ShammyLevva - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
All looking good, the CO is extremely grateful for all your hard work. One last issue to highlight... http://project-gc.com/Profile/ProfileStats?profile_name=Mousekiller&getprofile=Get+profile Shows that Mousekiller has found a cache in November the script says he hasn't. The CO noted that seems to be the case with others she's tested.by ShammyLevva - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Whilst what you say is true ChrisDen for a new challenge this one is a very old one as can be seen from the GC code. Edit: Hmm confusing. The poster lists an unpublished challenge in the original post then quotes an old challenge when asked for details. Clarification needed.by ShammyLevva - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
Thanks so much for the work so far. Using http://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC6VVR6/23224 I think I spotted an output error though, most likely a typo. 0 User has found 0 caches of type "Climbing gear required" (0 required). 0 User has found 5 caches of type "Tree-climbing required" (5 required). 0 User has found 32 caches of type "Field puzzle" (32 required). 2by ShammyLevva - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Apologies the cache GC code is GC6VVR6by ShammyLevva - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Lots of caches are used for multiple challenges. Most streaks, DT grids etc challenges have caches in common even challenges from the same CO. I'd have thought from the name and info given then its pretty clear the intention is for any over 1 mile high. The bonus being if someone has found one over two miles high they qualify for both. Just as people finding other caches can use that cache tby ShammyLevva - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Fair enough I can change it by the extra foot to make it over 2 miles if required. :)by ShammyLevva - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Assuming reviewer allows it this would be the checker http://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC6R4VZ/23217by ShammyLevva - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

...and same question for this one. Elevation data isn't 100% accurate and not available on Geocaching.com so you need to confirm with your reviewer they are allowing this before we write a checker.by ShammyLevva - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Same question as the two mile high option.by ShammyLevva - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Are you sure your reviewer is allowing this? Elevation data doesn't exist on Geocaching.com and challenges usually need to be based on data available on Geocaching.com. Project-GC has elevation data sourced from alternate sites.by ShammyLevva - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

Hi all, I've been doing most of the challenge checkers published in Scotland by the users directly emailing me and requesting I write or tag a checker . One user has come forward with the following challenge and I suspect there isn't a current script for it. I'm reluctant to embark on writing a script from scratch if there is something available. I noted SeekerSupreme's poiby ShammyLevva - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
A list of cities with each centre point specified and a radius would be a far easier checker to tag.by ShammyLevva - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
It would be fairly easy given the list of acceptable names apart from the effort to get the names into something usable. So therefore to assist can as the CO provide that list in a CSV file please. ie: a text file that looks like this... 'Aeneus corydoras', 'African glass catfish', etc a list of the terms in single quotes each term separated by a comma. That then assuby ShammyLevva - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
What's the rational behind excluding Germany? Just seems like needless discrimination to me. Why shouldn't a German cacher be able to qualify if they get 1000 caches in their homeland?by ShammyLevva - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Sorry my mistake I'd not noticed that this was a grandfathered challenge.by ShammyLevva - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
In addition to what Mole125 states that you would need to produce a list of states and which states are neighbouring as such a list doesn't exist. If the google translate has correctly translated you state caches must be found on the same date. This violates the new challenge guidelines you may not place time restrictions on finding caches. Thus unfortunately this cache wouldn't be aby ShammyLevva - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
Perhaps if we extract from the API a list of all the possible geocaching countries then the CO could decide which continent each country was in.by ShammyLevva - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
