Even the very first suggested method, when added as a link to the cache page via the link button in source mode, provides an invalid address notification. The ONLY way I can get to the cache page is to enter the information as plain text.by coachstahly - Miscellaneous
Chrome provides the exact same situations as already described. I copy the entire provided link from the checker. In the edit mode on geocaching.com (and source mode within the edit cache page mode), I select the link icon and paste the link into the url box, making sure to change to the proper protocol (I also used http to see if it mattered). Using the "preferred" link, I attempted to use the link insertion for the cache page and get an invalid address, as mentioned previously. Tried it as an image and got nothing and then tried it as plain text and got two separate clickable links. I'm going to switch over to Google Chrome to see if Safari might be the issue.by coachstahly - Miscellaneous
For some reason, it worked. I rarely create my cache pages out of source mode. I also didn't see any difference between what you posted and what I copied from the link that project-gc provided but it worked. I also posted it as plain text (not used it as a link or as an image) and now get two separate clickable links (one to the checker and one to the image). Weird. A few months ago I cloned a checker and tied it to my challenge and used the bottom/third method for adding it to the cache page. I never clicked the link, assuming it worked. Things have finally eased up in my state so I'm comfortable submitting the cache for publication but the reviewer said the link doesn't work. Sure enough, the message I receive says that Safari can't openby coachstahly - Miscellaneous
