Again, thank you, Hügh. Of the challenge cache pages you listed only one has a checker, and it produces the same spelling errors. Another doesn't have the checker, but the finders are using that same checker to verify their qualifications. It would seem that there is a valid reason to correct it. If Target doesn't see this in the next few days I'll reach out directly, as you suggeby GoldenStateBoy - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
Thank you for the information, Hügh. My cache has been published. To address your comments, you state that the cache: - Must clearly state that the challenge is optional. ----- It does. Hello, I have run across a challenge checker that I am using in an "un-challenge" traditional cache. https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC9K21A/64711 I know it's not a currently-valid challenge, but I am still using it for my traditional cache - UnChallenge - 81 D/T Combinations in a Year. The issue is that the checker output contains two spelling errors that I hope you will fixby GoldenStateBoy - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)

Thank you again. After following your link to Discord from my computer it insisted that I provide my phone number so they can text me a code. When they wanted my email so they can email me a code, I thought I'd look it up. Two different sources (WSJ was one) described it as an online communication platform used by about 250 million persons, primarily for online gaming chat purposes. "by GoldenStateBoy - Miscellaneous
Thanks... I guess. I just want to get the polygons corrected back to where they were before, where these caches are shown as in Lyon County as they should be. I don't really want to install some third party gamer chat application. Is there somewhere that is actually on Project-GC that I can take this? Respectfully, GoldenStateBoyby GoldenStateBoy - Miscellaneous
Thanks! I'll wait a day or two and then message them.by GoldenStateBoy - Miscellaneous
Thank you! I didn't know where to go with this issue, and figured that if I started here I would get direction. Can you share with me how I message magma1447 directly?by GoldenStateBoy - Miscellaneous
Hello there, I blacked out the counties in Nevada a few years ago, but I noticed a new challenge outside Taft, CA where one has to get all the counties in Nevada. Imagine my surprise when the checker returned a negative result. I then noticed that Lyon County, NV was not shaded on my Project-GC map. Here's the challenge: GC9F1GE - BCS: Nevada Counties Challenge And the checker:https:/by GoldenStateBoy - Miscellaneous
Thank you for such a quick response! It seems to match what I have for their totals, which includes the Community Celebration event.by GoldenStateBoy - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hello! Is it possible to modify the existing checker for GC7N3EJ (Summertime Challenge) so that it includes all event types? It has been pointed out to us that the Community Celebration events are not being counted. Thank you! Scott/GoldenStateBoy C.O.G.G. co-Adminby GoldenStateBoy - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

Thank you, vogelbird. I am a little disappointed, but understand. To clarify, the statement in the other checker that it "only works for cachers that have logged in on project-gc.com and have set homecoordinates" does not work in this case? Take care, GoldenStateBoyby GoldenStateBoy - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
Hello, I was wondering whether or not there can be a checker created for GC21NH1 (10 Mile Traditional Challenge)? At first I didn't think so, as I have seen comments on other checker requests that say that Project-GC doesn't have access to a home location. However, while browsing the checker forum I came across this message chain, and specifically the response from vogelbird on 28by GoldenStateBoy - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
Thank you. One of my group wondered about a lonely fizzy challenge. I didn't think it was possible, but that "June (2017) is expected" comment got our hopes up.by GoldenStateBoy - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
General question here. I notice that in the "Read Me First" post of March 2017 it says, "The checker does not have access to logs from others on the geocaches logged. Therefore a challenge to log a geocaches that hasn't been logged for one year isn't possible. We are however looking into solving this in the near future (June is expected). Those are both wonderful changes! Thank you!! When I first mentioned the different outputs for a 6-state v. 5-state result I wanted to know what was possible so I could make a better decision about whether to change the challenge or use a checker that might not give the best results. After talking with others I have decided to change the challenge to allow the cacher's home state. I apby GoldenStateBoy - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I am leaning toward modifying the challenge so that any five states qualify. That would also make it easier to convert for 10 and 15 states, which will publish soon. I will let you know. In the meanwhile, can you tell me what the numbers in parentheses refers to? For example, when I run the checker on myself the first state says, "Region: **California** (112)." I haven't seen a response to this question, but it's possible it was missed because it was on a thread. I am not asking you to change this, yet, but just asking about the possibility. Is it possible to give a positive result for six states, and a cautionary result for five states? I am torn about having it check for six states, as it could give non-US persons a false negative. Yet allowing it for just 5 states would give US persons a false positive. Perhaps I should ask for it to look for 6 states, and still have it be used simply as a guide? I hadn't run the checker and shown anyone with locationless caches qualifying. Can that be corrected?by GoldenStateBoy - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I think I will use this as a guide for some people, but not modify the existing challenge. Thank youby GoldenStateBoy - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
This appears to be working. I tested it against those who have manually collected their qualifiers, as well as against others whom I know are and aren't qualified. It seems to have worked perfectly on each of them. I know I am not qualified for this one. A similar challenge was suggested to me for which I also did not qualify, and I created that and this one prior to the challenge moratorby GoldenStateBoy - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
This seems to do the trick. Thank you so much!by GoldenStateBoy - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
So,I would need to eliminate the "home state" rule, right? I guess I could assume that the home state would have the five icons and have the checker look for six states, right? And there is a chance of writing a script that lumps "All event cache types" into one category? That would be critical to this grandfathered challenge, and I would prefer it for the 10x5 and 15x5 verby GoldenStateBoy - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Although this is a grandfathered challenge, I wish to create a 10x5 and 15x5 challenge, too. Yes I qualify for both. If this one is possible then I will create them. It this one is not possible then why bother?by GoldenStateBoy - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
