This is NOT true. OReviewer seems to have taken a special dislike for our Challenge, because his wife didn't qualify for our newest challenge. Seems personal! We used existing county maps and Google Earth to determine connections. We had written a Challenge long before the moratorium. We spent a month of our time to create a connection chart which matched the criteria in OUR challenge.by MaxB on the River - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
We have no idea, you would have to look at all bodies of water and then figure out what the county numbers are in the data matrix and duplicate the entries in both counties, many would be across state lines. We had over 18,000 data points in the file we created. The job would be laborious and the only time the lines even show up is in the map displayed on our challenge checkers. The county matrix we created and provided to Project-GC was created in May/June of 2016 for our grandfathered contiguous county states challenges. Publishing of our event challenge was approved before GCHQ weighed in on the concept of contiguous counties. We certainly hope that our events challenge, which identifies clearly on the cache page requirements and our definition of contiguous countieby MaxB on the River - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
The checker utilizes a JSON data matrix that we spent a whole month creating for the people at Project-GC. We did this based on our grandfathered challenges criteria we outlined in each of our cache page writeups. If GCHQ isn't going to approve checkers that utilize that data set of county matrixes, then they need to create their own matrix and provide that to the script writers of Proby MaxB on the River - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
We were thinking of the following cache south of Abilene that we did, it only requires the capital county. State Capital County Challenge https://coord.info/GC3W7WWby MaxB on the River - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
DaGrandpa, When looking at your result for the checker, it shows you found caches in connected counties up to Hines Co - Jackson MS. then skipped at least 1 county before Scott Co MS, then skipped again at least 1 county before Lauderdale Co MS. After Lauderdale county you found caches in contiguous counties through AL into GA to Augusta GA. All Blue counties displayed are ones you have cacheby MaxB on the River - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
If you run checker for cacher Tsmola. You can see on the map graphic he has counties across lake Michigan, but the checker (i.e. Green vs Blue) show these are not considered connected.by MaxB on the River - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
The counties should not actually connect across the great lakes. The map graphic shows counties out across lake, but the checker should not show those as connected. Let us know some that show as connected, so we can check connection matrix.by MaxB on the River - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
That would be great - our challenge included international cachesby MaxB on the River - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Another great job by Sloth69. Thank you. We will add a note to the page indicating checker doesn't look at Countries, but cacher can add them manually if needed to qualify.by MaxB on the River - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Thank you - Let us test drive it to see what we find.by MaxB on the River - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
We saw a challenge in Texas, which instead of looking at State Capitol Cities, it allowed the County that the State Capitol was in. Not as precise for cache location, but we thought it was a good approach to Capitol concept, without having to determine polygon for a city which is being discouraged.by MaxB on the River - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
The County Connection Matrix we created is based on the definition of Contiguous Counties we used (prior to checkers being required) on our Challenge (GC43JRX ). It does not consider pure corner to corner counties as being adjacent.by MaxB on the River - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
To OReviewer, Are you aware of connections not showing up. Can you contact me outside forums to see what? The definition we used is shown on our Contiguous counties challenges. Warren & Maxine Brownby MaxB on the River - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
Rather than using the county connection matrix with has some 18,000 data points, it might make more sense to made a State/Province connection matrix which would have less than 400 data points. Then this could be merged with the programing concept Target used for the counties.by MaxB on the River - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

The output could read: "You qualify with (x) connected counties. 10 were needed."by MaxB on the River - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Thank you for your very quick efforts. The Event Types that Vogelbird listed seem perfect to us. We ran it against a number of cachers that we had looked at manually before submitting, and looks like it is functioning correctly. For output, the number of regions does not matter, as they did in our previous Contiguous County Challenges. (However it doesn't hurt). Request a checker for our newly proposed Challenge Cache GC70AB6. Requirement is to attend events in 10 adjacent US counties. We have previously provided a "Contiguous County Matrix" for our Contiguous Counties Challenges which should also work for this request. All Event types are allowed (Event, Mega, CITO, GIGA, L&F). Output should include how many adjacent counties eventsby MaxB on the River - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
A locationless was still showing up on mine when I made last post, Seems to be corrected now. Thanks to all for the great efforts on Challenge Checkers.by MaxB on the River - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
OK - we will wait for that to get corrected before postingby MaxB on the River - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
The only problem we see is that Locationless should not be included. Thank you for your volunteer efforts on Challenge Checkers.by MaxB on the River - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

Request a checker for our proposed new challenge cache. This is similar to checker for GC6MC93. Requirement is to find at least 5 different types of caches each having a pair of caches of the same type that are 4500 miles apart. All cache types except locationless are allowed. Request challenge output to be "cacher name, qualifies (or does not qualify) for GC7054Y with (# of qualifying tyby MaxB on the River - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Thank you for looking for other scripts that may meet our request. We still have issues with the following: Q: On one of the test (FLtravelers) on the 20 finds in 50 States,......................... Ran several tests. A few comments: - Can we make output for each of the checkers: "(Cachers Name) has used the (GC3N7V4) checker and (does / Does not) qualify with at least (x) Finds in each of (y) States / Provinces / Regions. (z) were required for this level." - If they do not qualify, rather than listing the caches in the highest missing State (region), just give the count. oby MaxB on the River - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
This is easy for us to see on their profile statistics. Cache is existing and grandfathered. If a checker cannot be made, then we will continue as before. Thought this would be similar to our GC59498 Checker.by MaxB on the River - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

Request a checker for our existing (grandfathered) challenge. GC3N7V4 - MaxB's 1000 finds the Hard Way. It is a significant accomplishment to attain over 1000 cache finds. However only the real road warriors will be able to accomplish the 1000 finds spread over many places.
