Gadget63 How are things going with this?by sloth96 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
There is a get farthest api call we have access to. I am not aware of a script using it. It is documented here https://project-gc.com/doxygen/lua-sandbox/classPGC__LUA__Sandbox.html#a91560b921f4a4ce5e0e85f3b15ad6c2bby sloth96 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)

Howdy, So while your idea appears to comply with the geocaching.com guidance, there is a technical limitation in the project-gc api that prevents checkers from accessing home coordinates. This make us implementing this as a.checker imppss9ble at this time. There are a couple of options to work around this. The first is to center the finds on the cache locatiion. You would want to check wby sloth96 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)

Use this one instead.by sloth96 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
It depends where you are, but I would generally agree a fizzy is not a D5 and as this is easier than that, it would be something lower. Hope to see it published soon.by sloth96 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

I am missing something. Can you do a mockup please?by sloth96 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
How will they know they have completed the challenge looking at that? It still seems confusing.by sloth96 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Do you have a suggested remedy?by sloth96 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Please try this one. https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC3T9G4/61742 I appear to pass with lab caches as one of my special caches. One user does not verify.by sloth96 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I am confused. I thought your ij notation was from the "normal" d/t matrix. Then the main diagonal for the "transposed" matrix would be ij+ji which is equal to 2*ii. If you take the normal d/t matrix of 0,1, and 2 from above, then the "transposed" matrix is all 2's which is needed to pass the n=1 case.by sloth96 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Ok. Here you go. https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC9D79F/61724 Feedback is appreciated.by sloth96 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Any limits on cache types or locations or anything else? Folks usually want locationless caches excluded.by sloth96 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Please check this out. It is rather bespoke but should work. https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC4V4CP/61694by sloth96 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
You probably want to turn off the solution checker attribute.by sloth96 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
So what value of N do you want? N=1?by sloth96 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
What N are you looking for? Also just to make sure I understand, someone can complete this with one cache on the diagonal elements and a total of two in the combination of the off diagonal pairs? Someone whose fizzy grid looks like below would qualify for N=1. 122222222 012222222 001222222 000122222 000012222 000001222 000000122 000000012 000000001by sloth96 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Howdy, I misspoke. I had been looking at the checker status and not at the attributes. The checker was disabled again because of the attributes. The one that looks like a person climbing stairs needs to be enabled on the cache. The field puzzle and solution checker are on the cache and they should not be.by sloth96 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Another question that is more curious. os.time measures wallclock time. The CPUtime name of the variable suggests that os.clock is the better as a measure of "time" so that stalled CPU's. Also the language in the template talks about CPUusage. CPU time can pass more slowly than wall time. What sort of time is the limit really measured in? So using the following script: https://project-gc.com/Challenges//61662 for user Retired Guy, many subdivisions of Guatemala show up in the region field. I concatenate region and country for caches and get quite the list. It also gives a list of caches that have been tagged with this in project-gc's database. Caches are pulled either with GetFinds or GetHighest for display. And geocachinby sloth96 - Method requests

Did you have the challenge attribute set on the cache? The checker was automatically disabled after the cache published.by sloth96 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Your checker is at https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC9D4WN/61639 If you go to the page and click the link button it will give you three options of HTML code that you can cut and paste into your cache page.by sloth96 - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Do we want to think about a solution that works if the number of attrbute expands past 96? How about negative numbers for negative attributes?by sloth96 - Script development
Ahh. Interesting. I guess there once was as a find in a checker triggered it. Now the question is how to score all the "-est in N Region" challenges if there is nothing there to compare to. But this is the wrong forum for that question.by sloth96 - Method requests
