What is way to 81? I have never heard of this before.

It is the first cache that you have found of each D/T combination.
The name is because there are 81 entries in the DT matrix shown in the "Difficulty / Terrain char"t above  "Way to 81"

The table shows your success in completing the "81 matrix", that is the grid, in what you can see the different D/T ratings you have fullfilled.

The entries in the table are sorted by the date on which you successfully found the first cache of a unique D/T rating.

When your matrix is completely filled, no more entries will be made.

The last line is not true. Wen your matrix is filled a second time the last cache for that time is added and so on for each loop.
See for example my profile stats http://project-gc.com/Profile/ProfileStats?profile_name=Target.&getprofile=Get+profile
Oh really. Didn't know that. But to be honest, it makes no sense to me. Because it is called way to 81. oncw you have fullfilled it, the way is completed..

But anyway. i will edit my answer.
Thanks for the info, Target

may be it is the way that leads to obtain the 81 geocaches matrix, so to find all combinations of difficulties / existing land ...
