Why don't the stats pages show South America finds?

The map section of the Profile Stats shows country groupings for North America, Europe, Asia, Africa and Oceania, but doesn't show groupings for South America.  (Also doesn't show one for Antarctica, but that is covered as a "country."   Does anyone know why that is so?  I have finds in South America which do show up in the country list.

The continent overview map does not appear unless you have finds in three (if I remember correctly) countries on that continent.
