PGC.GetSimplifiedCountyPolygons(conf.country) not working?

I'm trying to run Extended Connected Counties and Regions (by sloth96) to check GC59480 - MaxB’s Golden Spike Contiguous County Challenge. (United States). 

The script is throwing [string ""]:330: attempt to call field 'GetSimplifiedCountyPolygons' (a nil value).

This checker is very useful for several caches, and worked well before the map change.

Will this function be reimplemented / fixed?

Great digging to find that out. Yes, the goal is to restore the behavior. Sloth96 has adjusted his scripts to the new api method. The current issue is that the new maps have much higher resolution, which is quite heavy to use. right now we are working on fast hacks to get things running, then we will work on optimizing the flow afterwards.
