How comes, that this log has 0 words?

In my profile stats unter the item Log length stands the following:

Log length:Gesamtzahl der Worte: 352,382, Durchschnitt: 75, (Gesamtzahl der Buchstaben: 2,662,580)
Längstes: GC43Z2W 510, Kürzestes: GC7N9MR 0

 If you click on the link to the shortest (Kürzestes) Log, you'll see, that it's everything but empty. What's gone wrong there?

There are various things in Project-GC that will try to counteract log padding. It will, for instance, ignore numbers and smileys and long strings of one-letter "words".

I suspect that it finds the long "lorem ipsum" bit here and then discards the entire log as padding.

The lorem ipsum was a direct "answer" to the lorem ipsum in the listing, that was "listing padding" or such.

Would it help to change it to something further down the lorem ipsum generator?

@Saenger The programming code can't make a difference between "padding words" and "responding to the description". Removing the Lorem Ipsum would be the way to increase the word count so you'll have to decide if your wordcount or replying to the description is the most important to you.

It would help if you wrote interesting long logs, rather than filling them with artificial garbage.

It was a deliberate choice, because the listing was as well filled with lorem ipsum. I'll keep it that way, as the content of the log is more important then some stats. This was just some question for a strange behavior of the stats, I don't mind if log padding is dealt with, but it's nowhere explained.

OK, yes, it's probably the well known texts of lorem ipsum, that are included as well. and abbreviating Thanks for the cache / Danke für den Cache as T F T C / D F D C will not be counted as 4 but one or none at all,

I'm fine with that explanation and keep the log as is.
